    Hmmm just always used different sized hair combs. Didn't even know there were tools. Excellent.

    Ciao amico, lo stucco deve essere steso di più anche con le dita. Poi passi il rullo, viene bene ma il tuo è troppo spesso. Raschia tutto e riprova, magari fai piccole zone alla volta. Buon lavoro.

    Thanks for the tips, I’m working on a Jagdtiger and have to apply zimmerit for the first time. Wish me luck

    Thank you very much for your input, and I think your comment on thickness is correct.

      In real life the application layer would be 5-6 milimeters thick, divide that by scale size...

    Sorry to be the stickler, but this turret is not a Porsche turret. This turret is an “early production turret” actually designed by Krupp (not Porsche) and was planned to be used with Porches proposed hull design that were never produced as the Henschel hull design was chosen. These turrets were never made my Porsche but were instead made by Krupp. The “P” actually stands for “Production” as this was the first turret design for the two competing hulls (Porsche vs Henshel) until Henschel later made their improved version (which is what we see on almost all King Tigers).
    I usually just call the two either the Production Turret, or the Henschel Turret.
    Sorry to be the nerd here about this 🤓
    Cheers!

      Don't be sorry at all, you're completely right. Most people and model kit producers label it Porshe turret. If I label the video production turret it won't get as many views. So for me it's just a business decision ( such as it is) . I hope you liked the video and thank you for taking the time to comment. Rick

    Nearly £20 for this. You’d have to be a Tool to pay that when it’s just a roller. 😂
    Worst case you can use a Hacksaw blade.

    • @Ricksarmoredmodels8539
      @Ricksarmoredmodels8539  Год назад

      Hacksaw blade huh, man I've not seen a video that teaches that technique. You've gotta post a video to show us that. I'd seriously like to watch that.

    • @shaunacompton9383
      @shaunacompton9383 Год назад

      @@Ricksarmoredmodels8539 Really, you need to watch a video? You obviously wouldn’t use the whole blade but a few pieces of various lengths like 5mm, 10mm and maybe one piece a little longer for bigger areas. Sometimes you gotta draw the line with these way overpriced tools and adapt.

      @@shaunacompton9383 As someone who prints 3D, £20 is about right for the time & materials use to make those particular tools. However there is really little benefit from a ball race and something just as effective could be made for a lot lot less. I printed mine for less than £1 worth of spool.
