the things at 3:11 are grinders ( a kind of winch you can find on a sailboat to control the sails ) its like a bike but with your hands and that is how the sails move on the real boat
I hate this set because you can't take it off the stand and play with it on the ground... It's purely a display model. I'm also not really into boats anyways. Glad to see the blue pump make a return though!
these vids never get old, new sub from me. so much to learn from this channel. i do got question though. can any of the newer powered up sets also be made back into the older power functions?
I got the smaller 2 Technic Sailboats for my dad since he's been watching boat racing lately. They're kinda cool, but I think I prefer other types of vehicles in general.
@@Daniel-nh7xj Thank you! Not exactly sure myself. Was just caught up with a lot of different things. I should be fairly free to make videos from now on. The goal is to get myself back to the level I was making videos in 2021!
no I'd need two hubs for that, since there's 7 motors and a superstructure portion as well as the track portion. It's not really an issue as mindstorms supports hub to hub communications
I think the red pieces spinning with the pump is the hand winches that sailors uses to crank the foils up and down.
Great to see another Unbrickme review! 😀 I love how you go over the build experience before showing the final result!
More to come!

Great review! 👍
I also have an idea for your next video: comparison video of 42074, 42105 and the new 42174 set.
wow! awesome! nice review!
thanks. what's your favorite lego set?
@@Unbrickme The Police Modular! it was my one only big set i have, which was a very surprise gift from a lego friend also we met online from Greece
Those cranks are representations of real, man-powered cranks on a boat. It's all human-powered. Watch a race or two.
Are these sails water proof?
What boat hulls that float would match up to these sails?
Love this! Do you think Lego should make a big Boeing 747?
absolutely! a triple seven too
@@Unbrickme definitely the new 777X is in testing now and it would be an epic technic set. (Hope they make 747 a lot tho, my favorite plane lol)
Amazing review! Although I think a lot of people are wondering. Why the long wait to release the video? ( So glad it's here though!)

Racing Brick’s way is the way.
Idea: you could replace the hub from the set 42100 by the mindstorm 51515 hub
This one only has one hub
And you could automate it
no I'd need two hubs for that, since there's 7 motors and a superstructure portion as well as the track portion. It's not really an issue as mindstorms supports hub to hub communications
that is the transformation vehicle.
@@dinhtuan752 I know, and this one Im sure that it has only one hub
@@Unbrickmemaybe the 42140 can work
@***** Umm... No, im not rebuilding it.
you should do a little bit of research on the real thing before you write the video, you will be able to understand and appreciate the details.
