Live in Mayan Theater - 1038 Hill Street, Downtown, Los Angeles, California, USA
Many voices say the Mayan Theater recording is much, much better than the studio version of Sacred Love itself... See for yourself. Видеоклипы
One of the best songs of Sting!
God bless!
Sting and another masterpiece.
in the years since this song was recorded the lyrics have proved very timely ....
What a joy it would be to play in this band!
Love this song...
next to Rolling Stone's Sweet Neo Con and Coldplay's Rush of Blood to the Head - songs written about Bush and his murderous thugs...
OMG i laughed so hard when i read this. This is how i feel too. I love anything & everything this man sings. he is awesomely talented. i pray for a man like this!!!!
I agree! this version is much better than the studio version!
Fuckin hell I'm buying this now
2022 reports back, we had not listened
Personally I didn't like the cd version much, and this one is just perfect to me. Magnificent!
Couldn't disagree more, there's no aggression in this version. The lyrics beg an anger, no?
The bass is played by a machine for alot of the songs on this tour!?! He said in an interveiw it allowed him to concentrate on his singing and and an extral layer to the music.
I do like this version of the song; but I love the rocking guitar riff on the album!?!
Bass as in the instrument. You know, 4-6 strings. i knew that the piano did what it did in this song:)
Bloody great, he's great, the band's great and fascinating. Who's playing the bass?
This song is like a crossover between Ghost Story and It's Probably Me in a way.
It's too bad that was badly produced on the album. This version is great. The original too but if recorded well.
Great dvd, great gig, great band BUT I rather the cd's version of this beautiful song , sounds a bit Cream and Hendryx , too.
I am almost sure that there are no-one playing the Bass in this song. The piano could be playing the bass, tho i am not sure.
Sting's last great rock song
i'm sure i'm hearing a bass. especially at the bridge on 2:28, where you can also see the paino is not playing those low tones. ever played a bass? you learn to recognise the sounds
