They always pump out new robots, then nerf them a few updates later while introducing a new robot alongside it, and buffing older, useless robots, thinking it'll regain the playerbase's trust. Therefore, the players throwing their life savings into the game continue giving Pixonic fat bands of cash. A loop of profit at the cost of player support.

I remember a comment in an post on an WR fb group, saying how the game is basically a collection hobby. You pay a lot to get the robots and weapons you desire and that's about similar to having a modeling hobby. I still play this game because there's no other game that had robots with such uniqueness like this and I'm ashamed to say I spent money on it to get the robots I wanted.
Don't be ashamed, just be very aware of Pixonic's long time strategy. I've spent money, recently even. Heck, my most enjoyable bot at the moment is the Loki that was for sale a couple weeks ago with 3 mk2 Cudgels. That little bugger is an absolute hoot, doing laps of Canyon and Yamantau. And it's killed more than its fair share of Crises.
I think the best thing about this nerf is you won't see so many teams playing 5 Ochos or 5 Ophions and wiping your team out in 4 minutes. Not too mention facing multiple Newtons and keeping you levitated until death. This may actually bring some of the older bots and weapons back into play.
I used to run Vipers on Erebus and did well until Ochokochi and Newton came, will still be useless with Shenlou coming I think Erebus is dead with mid range builds but glad I almost have 2 Crisis I need 250 more components for second. Not sure if older weapons will come back but maybe when Shenlou arrives in larger numbers.
Multiple newton's will be able to choke you. The damage will be less now. Choke is actually a little bit stronger because you no longer can break free, meaning whatever gets hit is stuck, no ability will push you out now.
Now that most players have the newer bots and weapons they make them useless, so when the next generation comes out you have to spend money to be able to compete. Don't give them any more of your money, this has been happening every couple of months just play for free
I'm very glad the Newton and it's weapons are done now. This has been an excruciating period where you just have to hover and get blasted. Such a stupid idea and glad it's done with. Okochi is done now too. That bot was so OP it was better than most titans.
Nobody should spend any money on this game with this ridiculous cycle of op then nerf. Pixonic takes advantage of its player base. Poor matchmaking, bad lagging, and too many hackers has also just killed this game.

I ain't saying I hate the rebalance this is good I was free to play before but when I got the meta robot it would get nerf right away and to be free to play you have no chance to beat the whales especially when the game was good and you were near champion and stopped and came back when it became this

Also the game started to go downhill because Sergey, the founder of War Robots got bought out and had to leave Pixonic which in return made the game P2W aswell. Sergey's tactics of using old robots to utterly obliterate new and overpowered ones will remain forever.
I've been lifted by 4 newtons one after the other I've got a fully max titan maxed weps maxed modules. It would take them short time to kill me. I had to start using my head and sneaking up on them or wait till they use choke on someone else to rush in for a kill lol
My hanger is 3 Ochoa, 2 Ophions, and Newton. Totally worthless now. I see the pattern now after a few months of playing this game. All these new robots look so powerful but when I get it, then they gonna nerf later. Then the cycle continues with newer robots. No more investing in game. Thanks for the video.
I feel like wr is just becoming a collection game, like get new robots, robot strong, then new new robot comes in, then new robot gets buffed to heaven while previous gets nerfed to the core of the earth, then the cycle repeats.
LOL. I sympathize, I really do. This is a huge and wide nerf of a lot of gear, and for those who are about to lose hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars spent on imaginary robots, yeah, that's gonna suck. I have a few observations for whatever it's worth: First of all, the robots on the Test Server are Mark 1 Level 8 with no pilot skills. The robots that people have in their hangars are not going to be this weak. That said I have a Quicksand Ophion that is likely to be taken down by this. I have a place on the shelf for it right next to my Spectre, Aries, and Fafnir. Even with this likely loss, a big part of me is doing a happy dance at the idea of the No Skill Newton and its weapons being taken out. I absolutely despise the Choke ability and am happy to see it dialed way back. That said, I don't mind the Newton in theory, but the ability lasted way too long and in combination with the Fulgur and Tonans was just wrong. When you can destroy a full health maxed out Sirius with a single use of the ability, something is really wrong, but that's as much because of the weapons as the Titan. Dialing those way back was the right thing to do because if you only nerf the Newton, players would simply move the OP weapons to a different robot and keep breaking the game. I know that's what I would do if I had them. Of course without Newton, the Eiffel and its incredibly OP bendy bullet guns will simply step in to torment players. It's the way the cycle goes. Ocho? Yeah, it needed to be toned down too, but I hate to see any robot made completely useless. I don't want that, and singling out the Ocho when robots like Lynx and Curie continue to be so incredibly annoying and difficult to take out, doesn't make sense, but they do what they do. Pixonic has done it for a very long time and it's working for them. The only way to stop it is if all of the Pay to Win players decided to stop rewarding this meta build/bust cycle and stop buying the next shiny new robot, but they can't; it's an addiction for them, one that Pixonic is happy to feed. The most disturbing thing that I see isn't this mega nerf, it's "Ultimate" gear. I think it's going to be the new price of entry into the Meta. Right now you don't even need "Meta" robots to play in Champion league. Have a look at my hangar [F2MBQ0]. Right now I have exactly ONE Meta robot (the Ophion that's about to be nerfed), and a pretty decent Titan that I really enjoy playing. The rest are assorted "ordinary" robots. My favorite is my surprisingly effective Rayker. Yes, Rayker, with its ordinary pilot that I've had for years; the one that just yesterday got Godlike on Valley map. Any player right now can make it to Champion league if they are patient and play smart. That will change if Ultimate gear is required. It costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to get a single Ultimate robot with Ultimate weapons. Ordinary players can't afford that, even if they pay a little already. The result will be much like the current "no skill Newton" with high paying players decimating ordinary players for sport while the others just serve to fill the matchmaking pool. I hope I'm wrong about this, but I don't like what I'm seeing. For this nerf, it's just more of the same. You can complain but it's nothing new. I was telling people six months ago that all we needed to do was wait and Ochocochi and Newton would be nerfed hard, well here it is. The next will be the rust weapons and current meta guns. By summer nobody's going to be running them and there will be a new meta weapon to buy. Get some if you want, but remember that you don't own this gear, Pixonic does, and they will happily take your money and let you use it for as long as you want while they "rebalance" it as they like.
I am not sure why anyone would be surprised. You could see this coming a mile away. It would be more accurate to call these fake gameplay "rebalances" as monetization cycles so that everyone understands from the onset. Importantly, it's never going to change no matter how much players complain. Pixo makes $500 million annually and everyone is a sucker including me. End.

I feel bad for the Tonans and Fulgur. They are the only decent titan sniper weapons ever since the Striker, and now Pixonic will nerf it to oblivion. That being said, Eiffel is now the new OP titan. On top of that, the Newton being nerfed means that brawling titans like Luchador, Rook, and the new Bedwyr will now become meta again.
Rook is getting nerfed as well, I would say maybe another stage nerf luchador mobility or defensive would be nerf cause he's quite annoying at max stack
Dagon and Curie remain untouched. (Curie got a 10% damage nerf to the turrets, but that's completely meaningless) Newton got nerfed because the new titan needs to be the only one that is good.

As a p2p who used to be a f2p for many years as a kid in the early days of this game, the pattern of releasing absurd bots and then nerfing them absolutely has to end.
Idk if ocho is done i mean yours arnt the limited edition ones and correct me if im wrong you have zero pilot skills on your test server so your not even playing it with the hp or higher dmg ability dmg it would have right?
It's interesting how it turns out. Two new titans are already out, not many people buy them, and then supposedly Robin Manni-good complains, and the nerf to Newton comes along with Fulgurams and Tonans. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Once we the players add pilot skills and modules everything is OP. So basically I think what Pixonic is doing is they are just taking away the pilot skills and modules boosts. STOP SAYING "OP" WHEN ITS JUST OUR PILOT SKILLS AND MODULES IS WHAT MAKE NEW WEAPONS AND ROBOTS MORE POWERFUL. The Newton weapons getting killed isn't surprising at all. Without them, the anewton is just an ok titan. They probably just needed to tone down the choke, and that's it, but oh well. Can't wait to start using my Sirius and Minos and them again lol.

Run the bugged hanger Seraph through walls Mars relocating turret Angler shoots through transendance Ophion broken Quantom Even the Purple 1100m lasers can cause a lot of Lag for amazon players. A lot of free damage with this build.
Siren doesn’t block more damage. It reflects 20% more And kestrel drone is killed. Now it only works with stealth robots and worse everything about kestrel’s ability Newtons are not dead. Its the fulgur tonans that is dead. And the sniper newton setup still can one shot medium to high hp titans. Only against regular bots the tonans are dead. And I’m actually glad. I never spent anything on the newton because I despise the players who bought it. And don’t forget newtons can still be run like a tank on the live server with pilot skills and repair amps newton on live server is still strong because it still has more durability than most titans even the ultimate ao Ming And ocho is dead. It should not have lost the extra 5 seconds of ability after the charge phase that’s all
They changed the kestrel mechanics. Ok. I just leveled up a kestrel by watching ads and getting beacons everyday. Nice. Nerf the stats, it's fine. That's pixonics but atleast don't change the mechanics.

Even the game has changed a lot since the camelot meta, I'm glad there are longer realoads on weapons; you can kill an entire robot and even a titan within 1 to 2 salvos

On the basis of the fact that we are paying for a specific item and they change the item after it's been purchased meaning they are going back on the product being paid for. Man, it’s not exactly how you portrait it here to be honest, all of the mentioned in your video will still be usable! Sure it’s not gonna be unkillable hacking like setups, but with some knowledge and creativity you can still run this robots and make them effective! Just look at the Angler or Lynx for example, I’m using them while currently being in top 10 Legends League iOS, so again, skills, knowledge and much more will be required to use this stuff after the nerf rather than just running around the map literally immortal so to conclude this, even if I don’t condone their way to do certain things, this is actually a good thing and will make the game “breathe” for a little while until they release some other stupidly broken stuff!
Bro i just redownloaded and a Regular bot shmurked my Shangrilah by itself. They just dont take damage at all, no shield, no phaseing just straight up outshooting my titan. The game has gone completely to crap.
Love it. So glad I didn’t upgrade Newton or Rook. Eiffel atleast seems fun to play. Titan bendies will be next. Hopefully Titan flamethrowers will last seem like a good weapon.
I think they nerfed the ocho a bit too much, yeah it was game breaking when it was introduced, but not having the charge effects go on for a few seconds after activating seems a bit much to me, it would have been fine with the hp decrease and cooldown. Or better yet keep the current nerf but buff the charge damage
The big probleme is that insted of doing normal nerf they kill the meta to make a new one. For exemple the labrys the cestus and the ksiphos didn't deserve their nerf they were balence wapon

I started war robots not spending money ftp i quickly new i had to spend money to get my robots stronger to stop from being destroyed and to have more fun, I justified spending the money on upgrading robots saying to myself if i spend the money it will be the last time i should be all set for as long as i play this game does anyone remember saying this to themselves here comes another Back stabbing Nerf.

For me personally i dont understand why pixonic is nerfing the cestus, labrys and ksiphos cuz honestly i have three of em on my f2p with datapads grinded ophion and they are good but suprisingly very balanced already. All the other nerfs are MUCH WELCOMED BY PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE maybe except the 1443455444$ meta players and i have zero problems if pixonic nerfs that so it can go in the liter bin. Btw i was soooo lucky for some reason: when data pads first came out with ocho i think everybody got some golden for free and i literally got a NEWTON, A ROOK AND A FULGUR 😅😅😅. Since then i just kept the newton in my stock as decoration aswell as the fulgur cuz i knew they were trash cancerous epidemic bullshit and i replaced my lvl 75 kid with the rook and now i use the energy shotguns on it. Personally i reeeaaally hate this meta stuff which is way too good when i have tried back then playing my ao jun with 22 sec ability cooldown and it was simply u.n.p.l.a.y.a.b.l.e. cuz i dont have the memorium for pilot skills and the only good modules i have are immune amps. I dont have ANY last stands nuke amps or whatsoever and the newest overpowered drones. My best drones are beak and the reviver. Very sad to see what the game has become and how people pay so much to ruin the gameplay of others. I miss the good ol days when my brother fist showed me war robots when the games meta was simply natasha with thunder/punisher. It was so much more enjoyable. But i still wait.... and just the proof that the ocho an damper tamer tickster an deceiver with pilot seven for ocho and maxed kestrel are completely over the roof powered: there was a game where an ocho yoloed our spawn and killed us all ONE BY ONE and me and the team threw everything we had on him but 1: he dealed way 2 much damage basically one shoting us all with rust and corrosion 2: was simply undestrutable during the ability an 3: was healing more than damage we could throw at him. Of course it was mk3 ocho with all wepons mk3.... even with my lvl 20 rook from the datapads got smacked. Rly sad pixonic...😢😢😢 And i dont even wanna speak about choke me daddy NeWtOn with fulgur and tonans cuz i cant stop seeing these in my league wich is master 2. This is great!! I skipped the whole ochi/newton meta and made builds that can counter them....My curent hangar has a currie a lynx an orochi(the buff is good) ghost typhon and the dagon. Get your shield breakers and lock down back on for the next meta all.

Why can’t pixionic make it that all robots of the same tier can compete with each other fairly? For example tier 4 robots. Look at the power difference between jaeger and ochockochi. Other games, stuff that are the same tier are pretty competent with each other. If you use a tier 4 jaeger and a tier 4 ochockochi (when it just got released), jaegers would be destroyed so easily. Why are there in the same tier if the difference in power is so big? Now every p2w player would use the new bots and everyone using older bots would just not do well. The game would be so much more fun if every robot could compete with one another fairly. That’s the point of having unique robots and abilities.

I have a Currie and it’s sitting at Mk1.1 since I’m sure they’ll nerf it if they see people using it and low sales on Scorpion 2.0. Rinse and repeat, the greedy 🐷 method…

Pixonic needs to disallow running 2 of the same bot in a hanger. Would only help with the diversity of bots used

Nurfs and buffs are fine except when taken to the extreme. Pixonic was a long history of extreme changes to the game. It’s beyond ridiculous.
I'm very glad the Newton and it's weapons are done now. This has been an excruciating period where you just have to hover and get blasted. Such a stupid idea and glad it's done with. Okochi is done now too. That bot was so OP it was better than most titans.

I've been lifted by 4 newtons one after the other I've got a fully max titan maxed weps maxed modules. It would take them short time to kill me. I had to start using my head and sneaking up on them or wait till they use choke on someone else to rush in for a kill lol
My hanger is 3 Ochoa, 2 Ophions, and Newton. Totally worthless now. I see the pattern now after a few months of playing this game. All these new robots look so powerful but when I get it, then they gonna nerf later. Then the cycle continues with newer robots. No more investing in game. Thanks for the video.

I feel like wr is just becoming a collection game, like get new robots, robot strong, then new new robot comes in, then new robot gets buffed to heaven while previous gets nerfed to the core of the earth, then the cycle repeats.
LOL. I sympathize, I really do. This is a huge and wide nerf of a lot of gear, and for those who are about to lose hundreds and maybe thousands of dollars spent on imaginary robots, yeah, that's gonna suck. I have a few observations for whatever it's worth:
First of all, the robots on the Test Server are Mark 1 Level 8 with no pilot skills. The robots that people have in their hangars are not going to be this weak. That said I have a Quicksand Ophion that is likely to be taken down by this. I have a place on the shelf for it right next to my Spectre, Aries, and Fafnir. Even with this likely loss, a big part of me is doing a happy dance at the idea of the No Skill Newton and its weapons being taken out. I absolutely despise the Choke ability and am happy to see it dialed way back. That said, I don't mind the Newton in theory, but the ability lasted way too long and in combination with the Fulgur and Tonans was just wrong. When you can destroy a full health maxed out Sirius with a single use of the ability, something is really wrong, but that's as much because of the weapons as the Titan. Dialing those way back was the right thing to do because if you only nerf the Newton, players would simply move the OP weapons to a different robot and keep breaking the game. I know that's what I would do if I had them. Of course without Newton, the Eiffel and its incredibly OP bendy bullet guns will simply step in to torment players. It's the way the cycle goes.
Ocho? Yeah, it needed to be toned down too, but I hate to see any robot made completely useless. I don't want that, and singling out the Ocho when robots like Lynx and Curie continue to be so incredibly annoying and difficult to take out, doesn't make sense, but they do what they do. Pixonic has done it for a very long time and it's working for them. The only way to stop it is if all of the Pay to Win players decided to stop rewarding this meta build/bust cycle and stop buying the next shiny new robot, but they can't; it's an addiction for them, one that Pixonic is happy to feed.
The most disturbing thing that I see isn't this mega nerf, it's "Ultimate" gear. I think it's going to be the new price of entry into the Meta. Right now you don't even need "Meta" robots to play in Champion league. Have a look at my hangar [F2MBQ0]. Right now I have exactly ONE Meta robot (the Ophion that's about to be nerfed), and a pretty decent Titan that I really enjoy playing. The rest are assorted "ordinary" robots. My favorite is my surprisingly effective Rayker. Yes, Rayker, with its ordinary pilot that I've had for years; the one that just yesterday got Godlike on Valley map. Any player right now can make it to Champion league if they are patient and play smart. That will change if Ultimate gear is required. It costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to get a single Ultimate robot with Ultimate weapons. Ordinary players can't afford that, even if they pay a little already. The result will be much like the current "no skill Newton" with high paying players decimating ordinary players for sport while the others just serve to fill the matchmaking pool. I hope I'm wrong about this, but I don't like what I'm seeing.
For this nerf, it's just more of the same. You can complain but it's nothing new. I was telling people six months ago that all we needed to do was wait and Ochocochi and Newton would be nerfed hard, well here it is. The next will be the rust weapons and current meta guns. By summer nobody's going to be running them and there will be a new meta weapon to buy. Get some if you want, but remember that you don't own this gear, Pixonic does, and they will happily take your money and let you use it for as long as you want while they "rebalance" it as they like.

I feel bad for the Tonans and Fulgur. They are the only decent titan sniper weapons ever since the Striker, and now Pixonic will nerf it to oblivion.
That being said, Eiffel is now the new OP titan. On top of that, the Newton being nerfed means that brawling titans like Luchador, Rook, and the new Bedwyr will now become meta again.

The Newton weapons getting killed isn't surprising at all. Without them, the anewton is just an ok titan. They probably just needed to tone down the choke, and that's it, but oh well. Can't wait to start using my Sirius and Minos and them again lol.

And don’t forget newtons can still be run like a tank on the live server with pilot skills and repair amps newton on live server is still strong because it still has more durability than most titans even the ultimate ao Ming

Man, it’s not exactly how you portrait it here to be honest, all of the mentioned in your video will still be usable! Sure it’s not gonna be unkillable hacking like setups, but with some knowledge and creativity you can still run this robots and make them effective! Just look at the Angler or Lynx for example, I’m using them while currently being in top 10 Legends League iOS, so again, skills, knowledge and much more will be required to use this stuff after the nerf rather than just running around the map literally immortal so to conclude this, even if I don’t condone their way to do certain things, this is actually a good thing and will make the game “breathe” for a little while until they release some other stupidly broken stuff!

I think they nerfed the ocho a bit too much, yeah it was game breaking when it was introduced, but not having the charge effects go on for a few seconds after activating seems a bit much to me, it would have been fine with the hp decrease and cooldown. Or better yet keep the current nerf but buff the charge damage

For me personally i dont understand why pixonic is nerfing the cestus, labrys and ksiphos cuz honestly i have three of em on my f2p with datapads grinded ophion and they are good but suprisingly very balanced already. All the other nerfs are MUCH WELCOMED BY PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE maybe except the 1443455444$ meta players and i have zero problems if pixonic nerfs that so it can go in the liter bin. Btw i was soooo lucky for some reason: when data pads first came out with ocho i think everybody got some golden for free and i literally got a NEWTON, A ROOK AND A FULGUR 😅😅😅. Since then i just kept the newton in my stock as decoration aswell as the fulgur cuz i knew they were trash cancerous epidemic bullshit and i replaced my lvl 75 kid with the rook and now i use the energy shotguns on it. Personally i reeeaaally hate this meta stuff which is way too good when i have tried back then playing my ao jun with 22 sec ability cooldown and it was simply u.n.p.l.a.y.a.b.l.e. cuz i dont have the memorium for pilot skills and the only good modules i have are immune amps. I dont have ANY last stands nuke amps or whatsoever and the newest overpowered drones. My best drones are beak and the reviver. Very sad to see what the game has become and how people pay so much to ruin the gameplay of others. I miss the good ol days when my brother fist showed me war robots when the games meta was simply natasha with thunder/punisher. It was so much more enjoyable. But i still wait.... and just the proof that the ocho an damper tamer tickster an deceiver with pilot seven for ocho and maxed kestrel are completely over the roof powered: there was a game where an ocho yoloed our spawn and killed us all ONE BY ONE and me and the team threw everything we had on him but 1: he dealed way 2 much damage basically one shoting us all with rust and corrosion 2: was simply undestrutable during the ability an 3: was healing more than damage we could throw at him. Of course it was mk3 ocho with all wepons mk3.... even with my lvl 20 rook from the datapads got smacked. Rly sad pixonic...😢😢😢 And i dont even wanna speak about choke me daddy NeWtOn with fulgur and tonans cuz i cant stop seeing these in my league wich is master 2. They ruin all the time my rook energy shotguns gameplay even though i try my best... i hope that i wont see as many anymore and that the non stop buff nerf cycle will find an end. This is great!! I skipped the whole ochi/newton meta and made builds that can counter them....My curent hangar has a currie a lynx an orochi(the buff is good) ghost typhon and the dagon. Get your shield breakers and lock down back on for the next meta all.

Why can’t pixionic make it that all robots of the same tier can compete with each other fairly? For example tier 4 robots. Look at the power difference between jaeger and ochockochi. Other games, stuff that are the same tier are pretty competent with each other. If you use a tier 4 jaeger and a tier 4 ochockochi (when it just got released), jaegers would be destroyed so easily. Why are there in the same tier if the difference in power is so big? Now every p2w player would use the new bots and everyone using older bots would just not do well. The game would be so much more fun if every robot could compete with one another fairly. That’s the point of having unique robots and abilities.
Well Pixonic just wants to change the meta in order to sell the newer equipments..........Nothing new in that !!! To all the P2W players out there, get ready with your wallets again !!!
Nah, this time the rebalance is perfect as it's finally time to nerf these cheating robots like Ophion and Ochokochi which require no skills at all. And taunt is so godly fun and i like to ruin everyone's aim and fun.

They push new OP crap out do fast knowing the whales will dump money to stack hangars…they don’t want people sitting on the precious meta so they nerf it out of the way. Now and then they buff older gear just to throw the players a bone and act like they monitor balance. So used to it I rarely go for the new stuff unless I get it by chance (free event tickets, giveaways, etc.) and even then, I’m picky on leveling. I have a Currie and it’s sitting at Mk1.1 since I’m sure they’ll nerf it if they see people using it and low sales on Scorpion 2.0. Rinse and repeat, the greedy 🐷 method…
