It's not advertised as one but I was wondering if the owner may have some cocolo ancestry due to the paintings and the name guavaberry
The owner is from San Pedro de Macoris and hence the paintings. I went back there for dinner today and ordered the same thing you did.

@@VivaBellabyXtina I went to a Dominican restaurant, the owner and his family were from Samaná, they told me that they Samaná Americanos and their ancestors were from North Carolina.
Must be a newish spot, cause I'm in SS a lot, and I've never seen it before.

Hola, you mentioned there are not a lot of Dominican restaurants in the area. I don't know, this is my first time watching your video, but they are quite a few restaurants (DMV), among them: Dos Hermanos, Mecho's, Carbon y Lena, La Casa del Mofongo, Tipico Dominicano, Mangu Delight, Cazabe, El Merengue Rest., Sajhoma, Punta Cana, among others. Few of these restaurant are located in the Baltimore area.
I don't know who does your hair but it is beautiful, if you can recommend salones te lo agradeceria mil.
