Great inspiration! I am classical Saxophonist and a woodwind Educator. I have been following the Starting strength book and the 5*5 app for the past three months and I am really enjoying the process of becoming strong. My elder brother has been using starting strength for more than 5 years. It's a long way to go for me however I always keep reading the book to understand the techniques.
Please, I really need to know: Can you describe your progress with the rediculopathy as you did Starting Strength? Did the discomfort intensify some right after squats/deadlifts; but then abated as you continued to get stronger? And has it disappeared?
@@jerrythomas4457 - over 1 million people in the USA have died because of COVID-19, and many have remained F-ed up. Every country shut down. Y'all can't admit you just went MAGA crazy. Same with Rip. His videos on lifting are gold. Everything else is not.

'Being strong makes you harder to kill' mark rippetoe 👍
And strong people are more useful in general.

Rip: Covid is a joke
Also Rip: Starting Strength helped this man survive Covid
Great story still feels like an ad but tolerable
Wonderful story. Hopefully rip will watch and learn that Covid is real.
It's real. Only dangerous to the elderly and weak immune
He never said it wasn’t real. Can’t shut the entire economy down. That was not the answer.
*_Shots fired!_* 😂 Rip is best when talking lifting, but he can go off the deep end with the slightest of nudges.

It was not a direct result of the training. If training was enough, Olympians wouldn't of died from covid...
94% of the covid dead were obese
So I guess the word “helped” went over your head
It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt……
So I guess it wasn't the myocarditis from the vaccines....
