Always love a nice cup of sugar cane on a hot day! Ooooo that chee cheong fun looks good, that amount of peanut sauce! Peanut mochi one of our favourite snack, that bounciness! Love the vibe of the night market, so many food!!
Night market is always the best place to visit to get everything in one place. Miss it a lot, haven't been to any since the pandemic. Oh yes the Mojo Picon sandwich looks amazing. Love that they gave you generous sauces on the meat.
Hey Nick and Helmi! So great to see that they have street food vendors open on Thursday and Friday nights in Chatswood! Boy do we miss these types of events pre-Covid times. Love Nick's shirt today.. very cool and psychadellic!
we actually had that sugar cane too haha, so refreshing with that lime & lemon kick! and by the way good to know that this market is open till night, as we actually left Chatswood just before the afternoon peak hours. lol
Wooo night market in Sydney! First time hearing about Mojo Picon, it looks so good! Garlicy prawns, sign me up for it! Parsley + Corriander homemade sauce, I'm salivating!
Yes Helmi, we are with you, Spicy chicken with pancake doesn't match for us either lol The dough looks nice. Great combination with the meat and the onions. Nick, how is that spicy chicken?
Haha Helmi is happy because she had many desserts today :P That muah cee is the best, reminds me of muah cee we got in Malaysia. So soft and so addictive.
Really want to try Hotteok! Haven't had that before, and have seen it a lot appearing on Facebook (and of course that Netflix street food). From your description it does sound like donut filled with Korean filling. The stretchy dough looks like donut dough 😍
That Spanish combo roll sandwich looked so good with the garlic prawns and sauce. That bun was perfect to soak up all of the deliciousness. We have never tried Korean pancakes before, they look interesting. The spicy chicken one looked good, and so did the bulgogi with onion. Would be a great snack before dinner.
The Guo Tiao dish looked very flavorful with all the bean sprouts and flat noodles. Reminded us of a Thai Dish we love. Glad to hear that the chicken was tender and juicy. We have seen sugar cane juice sold in Chinatown in downtown LA, it looks so refreshing with the lemon in it.
When can't decide, just get two, won't go wrong 😂 So interesting how the korean pancakes are made. Oooof the bulgogi pancake sounds like a great combo! Buldak looks nice and red inside. The sweet one sounds yummy too, what a dessert!
That peanut mochi looked like a great treat. We have only had mochi with ice cream. Never just on it's own like that. We can imagine you're getting sleepy Helmi from all that delicious food. We'd be crazy full too. Thanks for bringing us along and love you guys to the moon! :) 💖🌛😘😎
🤤 that shrimp and chorizo sub looks the bomb 💣 so good 👌 hahaha nick are you ok? That char kueh teo looks like it took your spice tolerance to the max 😂 lucky you have the sugar cane juice to cool down after that.
I went to that cane juice place last week itself. I love Sugarcane Juice. When I lived in India I often used to drink cane juice. 😭❤️❤️❤️. Can not wait for more amazing food 🥺
Def must go to Chatswood and try the food looks delish and so many options! The sugarcane juice is a tad on the pricey side...... like 3 times + the price in Cabra. Maybe they are using sugarcane imported from a remote island somewhere which has been harvested by virgins 🤷🏾♂️
Lol never considered having a spicy chicken pancake either, it just sounds like an odd combo... Well now we're definitely not letting Nick order one for us though, no trust 😉
The best thing about these Night Market food stalls is you can just pick and mix and try a bit of everything but we always end up overeating and spending too much haha!

Sweet one is the best lol
Ufff, yes to Spanish food!! Are there a lot of Spanish food restaurants over there?
Not so much of traditional ones🥲 they're more fusion hehe
Haha I remember some of the worst tongue burns having hotteok 😢😭😝
"For sweet people like me" 😂😂

it's really similar to pad see ew and it looks so yummy with bean sprout (chilies are small but they are hot! 🔥🔥🔥)
So spicy haha..😆

Lolll 🤣🤣 agree tho, sugar cane in cabra is like $2-$3 for bigger size!! I bet it's the rent at chatswood 😆
@@nickandhelmi lols actually good point 😅. Btws you guys are my number one food vlog! so jelly! I want to eat at all the places you go haha
Thank you so much🥺🙌🏻
Sugar cane in Singapore usually only put lemon, for lime and ginger i never encountered one
lime one is good as well. ginger is not our fave drink so never try it lol
Look at that Spanish yum!
Btw, pronounced "moho". 😉
thank you jordi! i was not sure to pronounce j or h LOL
In Puerto Rico, we also drink sugar cane sugar. We need to eat more Hong Kong-style food. Looks very good.
In Asia too so many vendors selling sugar cane juice 🙂
Ahh that flat rice noodle! Sweet tasting chicken with chili 08:59 lol slap in the face 😄
What a surprise hit 😅
I'm starving just by looking at the thumnail.
Lol never considered having a spicy chicken pancake either, it just sounds like an odd combo... Well now we're definitely not letting Nick order one for us though, no trust 😉

Thanks Joseph❤
Helmi is clearly disappointed by the savory options of hotteok 😂 Great compromise to get one savory, one sweet. Keep Helmi happy 😂😂
Of course LOL otherwise i won't appear in the video 🤣
Ahhh man it looks weird to see the koay teow not cooked on a wok
Yeah, totally different taste too
8:33 lmao I am actually laughing at your joke 😂😂

Hahaa🤣🤣
I dissapprove of Singapore's Kuey Teow 😂 no wok hei?? no no no, unacceptable!!! Come to Malaysia hahaha!!
Exactly right!! Hahaha🤣🤣🤣
Nice
Man I wish they'd open up the night markets here.. still closed..
This was closed too for a while. Hope things get better soon🙌🏻

How was the wok hei of the CKT?
Honestly, no wok hei but just more like pan fried 😅 i wish for more charcoal burnt taste hehe
@@nickandhelmi That's a pity. Not easy to find good CKT with wok hei in Sydney.
