You spelled color wrong. It's spelled "COLOR"
When choosing between color and colour, keep in mind that both spellings are correct. The shorter one, color, is the preferred spelling in the United States. The rest of the English-speaking world uses the longer form, colour, lol! Think and use Google before commenting.

@@cesiumion when you type color or colour in conversation neither comes up as error, the paint job is bootiful anyway.
I'm from the USA. I can confirm "wet on wet" primer is indeed called sealer over here🤣 great content gunny!
Aboutthatlife Racing Yes, It’s sealer here in the US. wet on wet means non sanding sealer.
not all sealers are wet on wet. i prefer sealers that are sandable.
I ran across your video just today and while I've been looking for tips on rattle can bumper scratch repair techniques, but when I saw the color that you are applying, I had to watch the entire video. It must be because my car, a 2006 Cadillac CTS Sport Luxury sedan is damned near the same color, which is beautiful. Caddy calls it Red Jewel Tintcoat. It is so enjoyable listening to your relaxed and humorous narration that makes it so entertaining, along with your seemingly robotic precision.

I was having issues that you warned about. HVLP gun, not enough compressor. Regulator gauge would drop off to 20 PSI. (And I have been holding the gun too far from the work too. ) I bought an ANI R150 mini gun. It must take 1/4 the air my FLG3 does. Plenty of compressor. So I bought a “No 1” air cap for my FLG3 and I now have more than enough compressor to maintain a very constant 2 bar. You were right. I have a big compressor for a DIY, but it wasn’t big enough for that Finishline 3 HVLP Need to get a Audi cam alignment job out of my bay so I can paint a Buick bumper cover :). Thanks
Interesting ! Where did you get the #1 air cap for the flg3 ? I have a flg3 hvlp , didn't know another air cap was available. That gun is hungry for air ! It is now a dedicated primer gun with a 1.8 needle and tip. I would like to try it again with a conventional air cap.
I found they exist on a Dvilbiss site. “Autorefinishdevilbiss,com. > gravity>technical data. I found another devilbiss site that sells them but i got mine on eBay.

Gunman I have a compressor set up, guns, sanders, drop sheets, tack rags... I could go on and on. Thanks to your advice all painting I have done has come out looking great! Including the metalic blue on my last Tickford XR6 HP
Great job. Looking at the first pink coloured coat and how different it is from the original colour, you'd never think the tinted clear would make it all blend together.
If any painters around Las Vegas or within a couple hours of Boise have this paint mastered, I have a door that needs repainting on my otherwise beautiful 2020 Miata RF. I had a random rock get kicked up and into my door by another car at 2,500 miles. I already had the dent fixed and the door repainted, but the shop didn’t get a great match. I need to find someone that’s got Soul Red Crystal figured out. I had to have cars to carry my kid around, then my grandkids. 3 months after I finally got the first car I’ve ever really loved and It’s gone from making me weak in the knees to sick to my stomach.

Fascinating. Beautiful job. I have a 2016 MX5 in Soul Red and unfortunately it's had to go to Bommarito Collision in St. Louis (Missouri, USA) TWICE (hit while parked both times) and they did a great job with the paint each time. I learned a lot watching this.
beautiful work, my girlfriend has a mazda 2 in the soul red metallic color, and the worker of mazda in Belgium made a carnage, and he told to me after he could make it again but he was no sure to make it better than the first time. Your are an artist Mr The Gunman

That is a gorgeous colour. You know you have got it right when other manufacturers start to copy it. Its on other models in the UK. Good explanation gunny.
In the car factory I work in, we have not long started to use a similar paint with a tinted clear. a nightmare to 'd.a' sand dirt out of as it gets lighter if you sand too deep and also I see a lot of that window effect you talked about even in factory finish! You did a great job on that Mazda!

With the computer/laptop it’s best to clone the working hard drive with the OS and keep as a spare so that if the primary hard drive crashes you can swap it straight away without wasting too much time to install from scratch.
Ebay has dual bay cloning docks for around $60 and they are a life saver.
Great work. I have a 2003 is200 Lexus, and got hit in the drivers/rear door. So it went to a repairer here in Brisbane, and when I got it back, it had the worst tiger stripe effect in the clear. At a 45 degree angle it looked shocking. Took it back, they had 3 goes at it and said 'we can not do any better, we are not robots"
And yet here I see what you do off the gun is 1000% better than these guys . Stunning work.

Nice seeing that mamba out there again but I gotta agree the dv1 base beats out iwata for base. I dig the ws400 for clear though. Been doing the dv1/ws400 combo a lot lately. You gotta get spraygunsdirect to do another gunman/pro lite deal again. Missed out with only 20 being made.

Question? Your pressure is 29psi but when you say Digital it is 20psi. Why is it less? I’m not understanding. Thank you! Awesome job!
All that is, with the new DeVilbiss, they measure the pressure further up on the spray gun, so what would actually read at 2 bar on the base may read lower than 1 at the cap. And the DV1 reads pressure between the cap and the base, reading further along at a place where the pressure has dropped. So basically if I put a regulator on the base of the gun it would read 29psi but it would read 20psi at the digital gauge. Hope that makes sense lol.

I have to get half of my car repainted because someone vandalized my cars front half with deep scratches. Getting it done through dealership bodyshop. So affraid it will look bad and i’ll never feel the same way about my 1 year old vehicle 😭

9 times out 10 you listen to the paint rep do it there way once then you end up doing it your most the time, I do each to there own. And yes deatailers are a different breed 😂🤙

Hey Gunny nice job!!! Boss man I have a question? Have you heard or seen a TE25 air cap before. I can’t find any information on it. My TE20 air cap sprays awesome but this TE25 cap that I have lays clear down flat like a T110 cap. Any input would be great!!! Thanks
