@@theculturedthug6609 I think football was far more direct and quick. Possession changed more often but I think it was more entertaining than now. Teams did not need 20 passes to reach the halfway line.
@@sylvainmirouf4683 Completely agree! I get bored now with every team trying to pass the ball out from defence only most not being good enough to achieve it. 20 years ago the game was more about football and less scrutinized, everything now has to be checked by VAR and put under the microscope, offside rule is pure shit these days too.

@1rst Yes, picture quality is bad which makes it hard to judge. I think though that both assists have the quality one would expect of Gascoigne, and as you say the way the second assister moves suggests it was Gazza (not to mention the title of the video!). I wouldn't take the narrator's words with too much faith; in the opening part of the video he describes Alen Boksic as taking the ball down the right wing, when he is clearly on the left! And this fundamental error from someone who was not required to commentate in real time, but to describe the action after it had happened...I really don't know how much information or access to the game this narrator had, perhaps he was in a rush or something.
How much english football has changed over the last twenty years is beyond belief.
This is like watching a different sport.
Why.. In what way?
