Omg you should try it!! I made some gnomes freehand, a doll, blankets, etc.
You have to keep track of your stitch count or be ok with it not looking as clean, which I am because I like them looking more rustic and homemade. ❤❤❤
If you start with cotton and a smaller square you can make a face cloth and use a stitch you like and do your own thing without making anything big or involved/worrying about stitch counts too much.
Just make it until it’s big enough.

ive tried it, the hooks are kinda shit but tbh a lot of the yarn is the same quality as cheap yarn from craft stores
ive gottona ton of natural fibre good quality lion brand yarn from dollar stores! they often sell what they’re discontinuing to dollar stores (at least they do in Canada) so just keep checking!

I love their yarn- it’s mostly Premiere yarn in 50g skeins which I like using anyways.
I have carpal tunnel so I’m staying away from their hooks but I have a HUGE box of yarn from Dollar Tree.
Their 100% cotton yarn, if doubled, is comparable to Sugar & Cream and I made a market bag from it!

You should teach us how to crochet! I just tried to learn to crochet with zero experience or family to learn from, I got a wobbles kit and I’m so happy with how it turned out but I have SO much to learn still!

I absolutely love some of the dollar tree yarn! The cotton is so soft. I’ve made some amigurumi with the just yarn acrylic, and actually used some of their Halloween colors for punch needle pieces!
