Toastie gains 65k Armor once she hits level 200. Retatiatory weapons gain +10% damage per armor point, so this is +650k% damage - the only issue being that this value is limited to 50 armor at max, except for Toastie. This was changed on the 19th of April '24 in a patch that she is the only exception to this rule. Stage is Abyss Foscari and the weapon used is Legionnaire, which has 4 different attacks: A swipe attack (left and right), a groundslam after 5 swipes, a retaliatory counterattack and the flying projectiles that also count as retaliatory damage, which is the main way of dealing damage here. To make this run work, I decided to start out with Divine Bloodline and Silent Old Sanctuary, Divine Bloodline to scale up health and survive anything, Silent Old Sanctuary to cast faster. Initially Divine Bloodline was used for the bonus damage it gives, but there were a couple of issues: 1) with too much area, the non-retaliatory attacks kill the enemies and the flying projectiles get 0 kills. I don't even understand why, they seem to have some sort of priority, but HP growth would completely halt. 2) Divine Bloodline became completely redundant since the main damage boost now came from the bonus armor. For comparison, the moment I hit level 200, my other attacks would deal around 8k damage while the flying projectiles dealt 72m damage. I mention that because there is a strategy to keep the HP growth by limiting area enough that a large portion is only hit by the flying projectiles, but that also means WAY less enemies get hit overall, significantly reducing damage output. So I only used Divine Bloodline for the health bonus early on to get through the stage. The next key was Boogaloo of Illusions at 11 minutes for rapid Area growth and standing in a specific spot in Abyss Foscari that spawns a huge amount of vases. The reason is what I mentioned above, that the main attack would kill all normal enemies and damage output is insanely low in comparison (around 200-400T max). But the pots (for whatever reason) can take a huge amount of hits from the flying projectiles and all of that is counted as damage dealt. So my only job became to get into a position that spawns so many pots that the kill counter decreased down to 0 (I use a mod to show kills/second but this isn't necessary, you see when they pop) as no other enemies could spawn anymore, and once they died I'd move away and back in to respawn them.
Dex you’re a genius-technician for this technique - who else would figure out the pots trick with the only character who can bypass the armor max level with the best retaliatory weapon in the game? You did Toastie proud 👻
I knew it. I even wrote a shitty drunk poem about reaching T and P, back then when G was still a novelty. I mean, i didn't know anything, but it's still funny that the poem was right after all. Now on to the E!
I knew about toastie getting 65k armor, but I don't understand why I never though of using that with Legionnare. It seems so obvious and it would easily blow my records out of the water even without that pot abuse. Anyway, great job
Wouldnt slash be a much better option then boogaloo ? Since that adds another multiplier I also wonder if santa water wont be better. It seems like the armor gets added as base damage of the weapon. If that's the case then santa water might scale much more insanely becuase they hit so much faster and overlap a ton
Boogaloo is a multiplier as well. It multiplies the area and the number of enemies hit, which multiples the total damage. It's also an upcapped multiplier because it gains 1% per level.
if youre curious for how much luck you need to guarantee better chests then assuming a penta chest has a 1% chance to appear you would need 9900% additional luck and 900% additional if its a base 10%. although other than being able to see a huge number of penta chests at the end screen this math is mostly pointless
The red gem, isn't it just all exp built up in one gem as the game cannot handle more exp gems on the map? I understand it like this so i don't really care about building up red gems.
They're important with the periodic growth doubling from wicked season. Otherwise you usually just want to pick the experience gems up as fast as you can.

You lost me halfway 😅
I actually understand this, which probably means I watch too many of your videos.
gg wp!
You turned Vampire Survivors into an old school MP3 visualizer.
Milk Drop baby!
Dude, even the dps was higher than the old damage record of approx 600G😂
Dex picking up chests and not getting a penta from 11:01 :

Normally I root for you to win but eating a broom is such a novel idea that I kinda want you to lose
It's a german saying. "Dann esse ich einen Besenstiel." It's basically when you're making a bet you are sure you can't lose.
@@vexflorez6220 Thanks for the clarification! I love idioms
More damage in 1 second than most builds in a whole game!
Who would've thought that getting less kills would result in higher damage?
Travel time optimization for the win.
My wife watched over my shoulder and she has never seen Toastie. She said it was real cool!

Anyway, great job
Boogaloo of Illutions. That's how we say it in German.
he took on a new channel guys (in the description lol)

Is anyone else appreciating that 79G Pigeone?

In the end, there is only pots
I like to call this the coolade man build
What a blazing run... so much pot.
🚬
the 44m dps from peachone is probbaly enough to clear any stage :>

I've finished the game a couple of times but I'm not sure what happens in this run nor the goal of it. But hey, I see jolly German man, I watch!
Is it really a dex video if we dont have boogaloo of illusion.
thank you for your work
