Woooow, I'm excited about this, Astro + Qwik is such a good match! adding islands of interactive preact still felt like bloating with so much js + jsx ... with this you get the nice composability of function components with the pure html of astro + qwik I LOVE IT Astro just keeps getting better
Qwik City is likely your best option if you want to build a pure Qwik app. But if you already use Astro or love some of their unique features, integration, and/or templates, then Qwik + Astro is now a great option too
I believe that Qwik already compiles to HTML output using SSR, what is the advantage of integrating with Astro? Can you not achieve the same performance with Qwik alone?

Hey Steve, I'm using builderio and Astro together for a project. I want to know if it's possible to register astro components the same way you can do for quik, react, vue etc. It would be really cool if my users could have access to these components I've built. I think this might be possible with Astro 4.9 and their new container API but I don't know?
Why not just use 100% qwik? Apart from having existing code written in astro, if I am starting from scratch, whats the other use case of combining astro and qwik?
One of the biggest issues I have with Astro is that you cannot pass (callback) functions as props to the components. If I'm not mistaken, it's possible in Qwik. How about Qwik in Astro? Does it allow passing functions in props?
With this and the transitions API, Astro is now legit god-tier SPA material

Yep! The integration is in alpha, so there still is some issues, I think cloudflare ssr works along with vercel
