You’ll find it pretty typical in mass bands for that to happen especially since a lot of the time it’s people from different colleges coming together that use different technique. Not trying to make excuses but that could play a factor

We had to be out of the stadium AT 8. There was a soccer game IMMEDIATELY afterwards.
