This happened to me 2 days ago… a major eye opening epiphany about my narrative. I realized that I was setting myself up to be taken advantage of by telling people about my history of being lied to and deceived. I see that I portrayed myself as the victim I felt I was, perpetuating that reality.

You like everyone will be lied to and deceived until you awaken and you will still be lied to and deceived after you awaken, but after awakening you will know when you are being lied to and deceived, and then it won't bother you because bad karma is the natural outcome of lying to and deceiving another, even if the liar does not believe they are lying or deceiving... and then you will opt out and away from such liar and deceiver because you no longer need any bad karma.

Knowing this intellectually and getting it emotionally are two different things. I feel the struggle within me to let go of the familial narrative of abandonment, lack of love, etc. It appears a lot of us are here to break these chains of family karma, and I believe I'm one of them. Last few years I've been separated from everyone and everything that was dragging me down. I thank God foe the epiphanies I've had, and I feel now I'm moving through those emotional waters that is the result of letting go of a lifetime (maybe many lifetimes) of this lack narrative.
It's not easy, there were times I didn't think I'd survive it when I wasn't sure what was happening or why. Now I see, and things are coming together but it's emotionally draining and slow. It's not for the faint of heart! Patting myself on the back for coming this far at age 70 and having the strength to do so. Thank you, you explained it beautifully. ♥
