It's not just cool, it's a great way to learn CSS without writing a lot of Stylesheets, that arbitrary property feature is news for me, i can use it a lot
Nice to know there's an escape hatch if I ever find something I can't do natively in Tailwind. I mean it'd suck to have to have a whole CSS file for one property! :)
Simon, cut your hair :D you look like a surfer from BayWatch 😀 Btw. why did you leave TailWind Labs channel? Btw2: You are my favorite lector, pls keep up with your awesome videos ;-)
Haha my hair is absolutely outta control. I AM A SURFER though! I went through so much grief and awkward phases growing it out that I will try keep it for a bit longer - but then I'll definitely cut it and NOT grow it again, it SUCKS to go through the mid-length phases 🤣 Re: Tailwind Labs - I was cut from the team in March 2022. I thought I was doing a great job, but I think the timezone difference got everyone a bit frustrated and delayed the video production cycle quite a bit. Oh well - I really enjoy my time as the Tailwind RUclips Resident, and I am grateful for the opportunity!
@@simonswiss shorter hair suited you better (my opinion), but you are the owner of your hair and your wife :-) You do a great job, I really enjoy your videos (especially tailwind), too bad you don't do it in Vue.js. If you wanted to make a TW video about config and more complicated things, I would welcome that. And I'd also like to see a video about you/your family and why you actually live in Sydney when you're originally from Switzerland? (I am also from Central Europe, right next to Germany). It's almost like I'm your stalker huh? :D Have fun, I will continue to follow you (now I have to go with my wife and children for the Christmas tree) :-)))) PS. And if they fired you or cut you off without explanation, that's really crap!!!
Hey @@simonswiss, I had a good start into this year and I'm looking forward to participate in your next workshop. Take your time and send an Email when its ready. Hope you had a great start and a lot of COOL plans for this year!

Totally! You can even reach for `theme()` values inside them, it's incredibly powerful.
Make video on dark and white glow linear gradient using tailwind css
lol that's ugly as fuck, but if it's only going to be used here and there I guess it's fine
Ugly af, but ugly af colocation + no need to name a class like ".deliveroo-looking-clipping-mask" 👍
Please keep sharing your knowledge... I really love it
Your facial expressions always crack me up; thank you luv it!
Haha, I try to let my personality shine more and more :D
It sure is!
