I’m new to your channel and recently started going back and watching your videos. I love your approach to how you do eye makeup. It’s more realistic and approachable to the average person even when using color. Everyone doesn’t have the time to do all the steps and every thing doesn’t have to be so loud and boom in your face. Your approach is a toned down less intimidating way to wear color and get use out of these beau palettes and still be daytime work/office appropriate 😊
I love these tutorials! I am nowhere near as creative as you, so your color choices and techniques are inspiring and informative. Love the musical choices as well. Really excited to see more of this palette - although I am the opposite of you (cool/neutral, blonde/blue) everything you do helps me figure out what I'm doing right or messing up on! I like your swatching vids too! I certainly wish certain platforms would promote content from creators better - you deserve much more viewership!

You have a lot of makeup fans on here and rightly so because you’re talented with makeup AND create great quality videos (your lighting is stellar). Re: the lower view count on single looks, is it that the audience interest is changing or is the mysterious algorithm changing the game? I do think talking is better than the visual-only format for getting people to engage with you/the content more and return regularly (which YT definitely wants). While I do occasionally look up videos strictly to see the techniques or swatches, I’m here primarily to connect with others who share similar interests, and I’m more likely to regularly watch if the creator provides a bit of chitchat or expresses their opinions through the audio. 🤓 (Some of us do like to read the commentary in the Description box but I bet the majority don’t or won’t bother).
I recently found your channel and have slowly been working my way through your past videos. I really like the precision and care of your eyeshadow application, your calm "vibe", the fact I don't feel like you're trying to sell me stuff and your opinions are formed from multiple tries of the products. I do prefer multiple looks in one longer videos, mostly because I can more easily grasp all the ways a particular palette can go before I decide to buy it. And you have such agreat eye for color combinations
I love these looks, these are how regular people would be using this palette. It's fun to watch the over the top looks but that isn't real life for me. These are are so beautiful and wearable. It makes me want to buy the palette. I've been on the fence. I'm still deciding.

I had the same issue as you, the shades seemed like simple sparkle when applied with the brush as opposed to finger. Turns out the brush was not appropriate, actually out of my whole collection only 2-3 brushes work with it. Also the primer wasn’t gripping enough, so the formula was not adhering to my eyelids. Changing the primer improved the palette drastically. I guess when applied over powder it has the same issue. It blends but it looks only average. Give it another try without the powder and different brushes, you are talented enough to make this palette give much better results than these.
I think I prefer multiple looks from one palette in one video because I'm too lazy to click on more than one video. Stick to whatever format is better for you. The short format was what drew me to you in the first place, my preferences have simply changed. And I disagree, these are the best looks ever

I love short format videos! the 40 min ones with the influencer babbling is annoying.
