Great tips. As a parent who took his young kids to a regional event I agree with the snacks reco. Actually, I would pack a full lunch. Also, if you’re a parent/observer I would HIGHLY recommend bringing a simple camp chair. I know it sounds wierd, but our venue (Milwaukee) didn’t have any seating near the tables so I was standing (or sitting on the concrete floor) for the larger part of 10 hours. I swore next time I would bring a chair. Ha ha.
Even though I already knew the obvious ones like the sleeves and deckbox points, there were some things I learned! These include bringing your own pen for match slips and bringing things like plushies or fidget toys for example. Thank you as always for being so kind to people and helping out as much as you do!
Amy, whe you are explaining the deckbox, the background ost goes over your voice. 2:10 I dont know if it is intentional or not, but it ends in 4:25 But content wise you are killing!
I'm sure based on the previous videos you've posted you'll probably eventually get to it, but I was wondering if you'd eventually do a video about everything you need to do for going to a regional? Whenever I go to card shops that are big on Pokemon, they ask if I'm going to , and I usually respond something like "I'm not sure I'm ready to play a big tournament like that"
I got this LL Bean backpack that ive used for the last 8 years that i would recommend anyone use if they are looking for a bag. It has enough room to fit pretty much everything you would need and more. God only knows if they still sell it. Edit, did some digging and looking around. It's the LL Bean quad backpack and they sure don't sell them anymore 😔
@@pumpkaamy You brought up a lot of points I wouldn’t have thought of like the double deck box with extra sleeves? Genius!! Watching this definitely gave me a better idea of how to prepare. Thanks for your insights and I hope your events go well for you!
I have to know how you got the drawstring dice bag! Looks like Pokémon Center Japan's website only will ship to Japanese addresses :( Great video otherwise! Super helpful!
@@pumpkaamy Alrighty Yeah No worries. I am guessing You edit in the built in RUclips editor and you put the Music track's in there and that's what caused it but I thought I would point it out instead of it being like that and nobody noticing it.
can you use sleeves you already have on? i have some i’ve been using for around a month and they still work perfectly fine, so i dont really want to buy 2 more things of sleeves. I was gonna buy one new set anyway, but if i can use the ones i have now in addition that would be great. So is it a rule that you have to have new sleeves when you go to the regionals?
As a rather large person i would advise my fellow round ones - remember you will be sitting in some small chairs and not everyone needs/wants to see your crack. Appropriate pants/underwear is recommended. :)

I’m so glad it was helpful even for a seasoned player! 🥰
When you said snacks, I got reminded of the little girl grabing her snacks and yelling "SNACKS"
I LOVE that kid and I reference that video all the time irl so maybe I was accidentally channeling it 😅😂😂😂
@@pumpkaamy Ït really is one of the greatest videos of all time! I also refrence it from time to time!!! Its really cute
As a new poker player I do want you to like states' regional events. I like to get some competitive experience, so this video seems very helpful.

Yes I see! I’ll see if I can fix it 😢

I order mine from a site called Mecca Japan! They’re very reasonable and ship to the UK and elsewhere
@@pumpkaamy I’ll have to check it out! Thank you!!
2:10 did the video get copyright claimed somehow or bugged? I can see you and the subtitles but after this point I can only hear music until 4:27
I THINK I fixed it, thank you friend 😊
