Not sure if Truglo swapped the screws on accident but the Gen 4 shorter screw = best fit on my Gen 5 Glock 17. The gen 5 standard longer screw was too long and left a rattle in the front optic. Now, to decide on tapping the back optic out/in with tritium in it, or just order a damn sight pusher and do it properly lol Gunsmith claimed it'd be fine, but he doesn't suffer from me voiding my warranty on something I bought from him.
Beware, while aiming, the tops of the sights aren't supposed to be level. The tops of the dots are supposed to be level. Equal light between the front post and rear notch are the same as traditional iron sights. It takes getting used to. ✌🏾🎅🏼
@mfats123 I didn't realize that either. I got very frustrated but felt way better once I did. By the way, they also require a "combat hold," the front sight covers the target completely. Shoot straight.✌🏾
@@mfats123 I ended up doing it the same way and am going with the US made Wheeler Engineering pusher. (I also mucked up my original back sight but who TF cares lol, I swear glock stock parts = world's worst trigger and sights)
