Randy, always a great time. Marks had a great time, he was extremely happy! Jason, his wife, son and friend (wraparound) were your cgc guys! Thank you for the shout out, hope to see you soon!
Thanks, brother! It was a fun day and I got a fun story out of it! Funny enough, I didn't love Bags back in his ASM days, but I thought he was PERFECT for Ultimate Spider-Man!
@@Kaboomcomics No, I haven't been since 2007. Right when it turned into a HUGE thing. My buddy/comic writer/guitar player in my band George O'Connor will be attending though!
Very cool video and nice 2 slabs. I wonder if your brother signed his own book, if Cgc grades regular books, it would be neat to have a Cgc Bronze Age Bill slab
Oh excellent to know! That's one of my favorite things about doing this channel, is learning cool stuff and meeting awesome people. I appreciate you letting me know!
I only want autographs from creators of my favorite books. I hope to get, The Death of Captain Marvel graphic novel, signed by Starlin. That story broke me as a young reader. I literally cried reading it. To this day, it is among a handful of comics that Ive kept to this day.
It's funny that you say that, because I wouldn't say I like Venom, and I am not a Bagley superfan or anything. He's okay. But I like THESE books, and I liked meeting him and getting the whole process done. It was fun to try. Starlin was at this same con last year!
I debated whether to start buying some comics, newer stuff as they aren't silly money. Was looking at Gun Honey but once i found out about all the cover variances it discouraged me, i don't have the time/knowledge to search and cross reference for 1st covers. I just want to grab no.1 no.2 etc simple. May start with Back to the future comics, i'm intrigued by what the story may be
Whoa, there is a BttF comic?? That's something I need to look up! I can't keep track of covers, variants, 1:25 ratios, etc. The only thing I really cared about like that was the covers of the Creature From the Black Lagoon comic that came out. I got an AWESOME variant I'm going to make a short video about soon!
@@SwarmofComics There is indeed, a fairly long run also, I believe it is 24 issues, could be a great read, There's also a spin-off called Biff, perhaps others. I haven't looked into them too much as that only ends badly with money being spent haha. I should add it's the IDW comics I refer too, there are older ones by Harvey comics. Was kind of bumbed out when they did variant covers of the 'fear and loathing' it takes away from the "I own these! feeling" then to think "but I don't own those ones" 🤣
Yeah, you can definitely crack it open. Though I am a bit scared of doing that and damaging the book. I have two books I want to crack and resubmit, but I'm too chicken to do it!!
Well, when you put it that way! Good thing, because one of the next videos is a CGC unboxing of Pulp Novels, and the beginning is like 8 minutes of me telling the story about the new service and the books I got, lol!

Awesome results with the gradings, and loved the story that went along with the whole experience. Lovin' the content Randy!
Thank you! Comments like that mean a lot. I'm still not over the idea that people actually WATCH this stuff, never mind actually LIKE it!
Great story about the convention and nice grades 🙂
Thanks, Bronze-Age Bill!
Congrats on the signature and grades!
Thank you! :)
🦁congrats on the books and grades. 🦁
Thanks, Big Lion!!
Can’t go wrong with anything by Bags! Congrats buddy!

Thank you, I appreciate that, KABOOM!

Thanks pal! I found the shirt on Teepublic somewhere, if you want to hunt for it!
most excellent!
Thank you! I appreciate EVERY comment!
Wow 9.8 that's cool that's been in the bin for years awesome pick
Yeah, that was certainly the craziest part!!! Then I'm an idiot and complain the other one was ONLY a 9.6! #fickle

Thank you, I'm glad you are watching them! Your support is super cool!
Good lord that sounded goofy... lol
Bronze-Age Bill, maybe we need to make a comic out of your book, so I can get it graded and signed??
@@SwarmofComics that would be super cool! See what George thinks...🙂
The rubbing on that gold comic is on most of them

Scan that QR code on the back of the CGC case with your phone to take you right to the grader's notes.
Thanks man! Unfortunately they didn't say anything. That seems typical I feel.

This guy's funny
" It's probably a 9.2"
" I got a 9.6 that's good, but I should check the grader's notes to see why it wasn't a 9.8" lol
EXACTLY! You set yourself up for having no expectations, then you complain about not getting a better grade! 😅 But at least you get my real reaction!
Isn’t the whole point of having your own RUclips channel is to tell stories! 👌
