I had no idea Io sky went through that. That'd incredibly fucked up that somone would do something like that, especially to someone who seems so sweet and caring.
you can if the title of the video contains the words 'you've never heard of', as that one is very famous. Most of these are pretty obscure but i would think most wrestling fans that have been watching for more than 9 years will know about it.
I feel like a great wrestler to make a movie about would be Booker T. He has an incredible story and it’s rarely mentioned compared to the stories we all know from some other greats
Would definitely watch that! He does have a hell of a story! He turned his life around and made a huge impact on this Earth! He is an amazing athlete and had some of the best entrance music of all time!!!
First off, I'd love to see a biopic about Rowdy Roddy Piper. Secondly, I found a video on YT talking about the cinder block incident in Mexico, and the fact that the guy who threw it showed no remorse was pretty sickening. Happy to know that El Cuervo (the wrestler who got hit) made a full recovery and is back competing full time.
I would love a Terry Funk movie or at least a documentary. You can put so many cameos in this movie and explore almost all wrestling promotions in one.
Terry is such a one off. He was involved with so much, so many legends had legendary matches with him, and like you said, he wrestled everywhere. Singles, tag, hardcore. He was in perhaps the most iconic hardcore match (first exploding ring death match ever), I Quit Match (against Flair) and had significant runs in 4 decades. Truly a legend in the business.
I think a movie should be done about Bruno Sammartino because he was the longest reigning champ, a classy honorable guy and he doesn't get enough recognition.
I remember when the Mike Levy Incident happened. It was awful. Ian Rotten is rightfully hated and regarded as one of the scummiest carny pieces of shit in the industry. He actually had his then 12-year old son beat Mike Levy as part of the attack, got wrestlers hooked on drugs, is thought to be partly responsible for JC Bailey's death, and stole the charity funds raised at Rollin' Hard's memorial show (that were supposed to go to Rollin's family) to pay his rent. Not to mention his entire affair and messy situation with Mickie Knuckles.
Yeah. From what I remember, JC Bailey was trying to get his life back together and kick his drug addiction but Ian Rotten was basically paying him, damn near enabling him, with pills and painkillers.
@RazorChampion99 Yeah, which led to Ian booking him in more and more hardcore matches instead of normal ones, and giving him those drugs as "holdover pay", which contributed to his death from concussion issue. There was a 2 hour phone call on a radio show once, and at one point where Ian was being interviewed (and called out by the host). Bailey's dad called in at one point, and went off on him, accusing him of killing his son.
Mickie is at fault for the knot on her head for all the damn headbutts she threw but somehow he was at fault? Also more about JC Bailey at his funeral Ian asked JC Dad for Money for the gas he had to use to come to the funeral.
@@JHazard1000 Yeah, Mickie did the headbutts herself. She had a TNA tryout a couple days later, so she should've known better. And the even crazier thing about Ian asking for gas money is he went knowing he wasn't welcome at the funeral to begin with.
@@SpanishFly120 That call is both hilarious and one of the most brutal burials ever. JC Bailey's dad taking Ian to town, Mickie Knuckles calling in and Ian changing his story about her ten times in a minute, Bull Pain calling up to remind Ian he owes him money and Ian trying to haggle how much it is (to which Bull Pain says "that's fine, I'll beat the other $50 out of you next time I see you"), and Billy Gram coming in hotter than the sun with the angriest promo I've ever heard cut.
I want to see a movie not about a specific wrestler but a backstage feud: the Rougeau Brothers vs. the British Bulldogs. Some of the stuff I've heard there sounds utterly compelling.
I'm pretty sure I know all of these. How anyone DOESN'T know about the Cinderblock Incident in Mexico is beyond me. It's a miracle that El Cuervo De Puerto Rico survived as is still wrestling. He showed up on an episode of AEW Dark and commentary made reference to him almost being killed by the incident. What's even more messed up is that as soon Angel O Demonio throw the cinderblock at him, there's a literally bloody skid mark on the floor upon impact.
I remember that Mickie Knuckles incident very vividly. she gets a pass cause ever since she broke up with Ian Rotten, shes been a lot better in and out of the ring. not that admonishes her of anything but it makes it very clear who's idea that was and who was the terrible influence
Gotta be a hulk hogan from wrestling more days than 365 in a year because of time travel, being at wembly stadium and writing a song for a dying kid with Michael Jackson and Simon cowell. He has lead the most interesting life

Roc Flair or Hulk Hogan bio pic would dominate streaming or movie theaters, for a min. I kinda want a Vinnie Mac joint, Harley Race, I been saying this for a minute, The Rock should use his production company to make bio pics for his heroes of wrestling.
This makes me all the more happy on how the culture in pro wrestling nowadays is a little bit better then it was back then. Wrestlers don't feel as though they have to keep looking over their shoulder, etc.
i would like to see a charlotte flair documentary, it's interesting how she was briefly featured in WcW for a snapshot, what it was like for her to go from not doing anything in the business to how she is now would be interesting
not sure how this happened but you've used old pro wrestling training footage from a wrestling academy in Barcelona called RIOT Wrestling 😆 I know because I trained there. time 6:23
A Chris Benoit movie most likely it will never be made but, it's truly a horror, sad story. Something that should be made bc it's sad how Woman and Daniel are forgotten in a way to bring awareness to them not benoit at all. I hope they found peace

A movie about Herb Abrams would be crazy

We need that movie!
It airs live every Wednesday at 8PM est on TBS.
@@MC-zt3wb LOL you're not wrong 😂
I’m thinking Woody Harrelson with undertones of his work in The People vs Larry Flynt.
A film about Kurt Angle. That shit would be incredible. Because his Olympic story alone is worth a feature film.
In all honesty his win was a massive home town decision
He does have a documentary. Good watch/listen if you haven't seen it.
Also because of how his story is related to one of the most outrageous scandals in Olympic wrestling

How tf is #2 not #1 on the list. Someone got suplexed to death in NJPW but WWE had an Invader show up with a gun, so that's worse?
