I’m smart I’m getting it at December at my local game stop
To be honest, while I haven't preordered the system, I plan on getting a PS5 with a game, or two in the future when I have enough money for it when more are available later, I would scream too if I couldn't get a PS5 as soon it was announced.
So as crazy as it is, I can't blame anyone feeling down about it. But more will come out in the future, so there's no pressure to get it soon. But if they can get it soon, then more power to anyone who can.

Can you just imagine what kind of whimsical things would happen if Sony and Microsoft both "throw the towel" and just say "fuck it, let's make a console with ALL benefits of our products" and just completely dominate the market by being a very cheap alternative as a high power _everyone's type_ platform. I'd rather buy that PlayBox/X-Station (possible nintendo adaptation pending lol) for 499-599 that has the same power as a PC for 2K. And imma be honest, buying a PC for 2K is probably only necessary if you're really into animations, simulations or music making. Gaming actually requires fairly little power tbf, considering the fact that the PS4 and the XBOX One are still capable of playing the "new" flagship games, despite literally being _extremely fucking old_ in terms of electronics

The thing about Playstation Vs. Xbox is that they give each other competition, a real reason to give it their all to improve, otherwise their opponent will slip ahead and they’ll lose sales. If Sony and Micro were to combine, they’d have a near monopoly on the console gaming market (aside from Nintendo still existing, but it’s Nintendo lol), meaning that since they no longer have a competitor trying to steal sales, they don’t have a really big reason to improve, so their consumer friendliness would be in the shitter because they know you *have* to buy Playbox if you want to play anything that’s not Mario or Zelda, so they can take extreme advantage of their player base, especially if exclusives like God of War and Halo stay on the console and don’t go to PC

The only game I have was Killzone Shadow Fall toke me almost one year to buy another game.

When i woke up in afternoon, I nearly had a heart attack to see the news of ps5 getting sold out. But fortunately by some miracle I was able to book one in my 6h retail choice lol. I didn't even make it to the initial release at 8. I got lucky on Best Buy cause I guess they learned from the ps5 and did a 2 stage release. I was on the site when the second wave that they had went out at 10:30ish
