Another great video of people enjoying their caravanning. Not a lot have been out this year. by the lack of videos on the net. Only 23 MG while towing?? Should have got the Volvo .. lol. 29 mpg at worst is what I get. and around 40 mpg when solo on long runs. It's not the 61 as per Manufacturers, but still good for a 2.4 litre diesel. I like the recipes too. It's good to have ideas what to eat while away. Too many times we opt for the Take-Away and fail to enjoy to the max. Ange should publish a book of the recipes for Caravannners, I'd definately buy it.
It’s strange to see the Brits struggling in the heat when we’re so used to it here in Oz. I guess it would be like us in the cold. Glad you enjoyed your holiday 😀

We were in the New Forest at roughly the same time, though the Centenary site was just too expensive for us, so we chose a CL near Fordingbridge. Lovely part of the world.
Great video. Love the New Forest, many happy memories made there when our daughter was little. Thanks for sharing. UNO - a favourite game at Christmas to confuse the oldies 😂 it’s a great laugh (well as long as you’re not losing!)
Hi Dan & Family ,just to let you know we decided to leave our tourer and stay at my sister’s beach hut ( Mudeford Quay) same time you were there 😊. Unfortunately my sisters family all swam in the sea ( IOW side ) like Chloe and ended up with Norovirus . G & me were ok as we stayed on dry land despite the extreme heat. My sis and her hubby are GPs and believe the Norovirus ( D& V) may have been the sewage we are hearing about contaminating the coastal waters . It’s never happened to them in the 20 years they’ve had the beach hut. Their neighbours were also affected .We do hope Chloe was ok🤞x Great videos as always!

My 17 year old Ford CMax 2ltr TDi on a work run normally steady at 62mpg. When travelling towing the caravan over 189mile trip averaged 36mpg. Not bad I think.

I had sun stroke may years ago, I wasn't nice I know how Chole felt. My 520 auto BMW averages about 25mpg when towing it did drop to 7 mpg when going up into shaftsbury. Looking forward to the next video

We hired a boat when we was in Christchurch let the kids drive (lesson learned on that one) hope you had a good time though, shame Chloe not well, was very hot down that way. I realise this may be controversial in view of your Readly promotion, however you can get access to hundreds of publications (magazines and newspapers) from the UK and all over the world via a free subscription with membership of your local library. My local library uses Press Reader and I get all my favourite magazines, including Practical Caravan, to download completely free of charge via the App. Sorry to hear about poor Chloe. I hope she made a quick recovery. Also congratulations to you both on your silver wedding anniversary.
