I appreciate your videos, you make training fun for human and dog! We just got a 7 week old Brittany and have started training her with the Traditional method since she struggles with crunchy food (takes forever to chew it up) but she loves the praise. Looking forward to a dog who knows when to have fun and when to behave 😊
I'm watching your classes in a chronological order for my dogs. Thanks for all the info. I find your class very useful and interesting. Thanks ❤️From Kerala, India
Thanks for all the extra time you take to make all these great videos. I really like your style and you have helped my back pains from bending over for so long training my female Clover, now I have two new pups and it is really helping a lot to have tables to work off of.
You sounded like a preacher man, there at the end 😄 I'm learning so much, I started training the family cat for practice, I'm waaaay excited (until the puppy arrives) I got laughed at, but it is training for me too! Thanks for posting.
I see on here in the comments that you were thinking about making a video about a subject some people were debating. How about a video showing how you care for your dogs from the kennels, maybe just an overall view of them how they are kept clean, your welping area etc... I'm designing my kennels now for the last year lol. I have been looking around at how some kennels are done for ideas. The care of of working dogs has different needs, and is very important also. Right now I have a few different types of kennels/ runs in different locations so that I can move them around during the day, keeping them busy when I work other dogs and out of the hot sun. I have cool down areas for after work then I can wet them down to clean them off at the end of the day. A working clean dog is a happy dog eh ? Thanks !
Dear Mr. Dennis, I have a question. I have been watching all your videos on training as I have a 10 week old golden retriever. My question is how long to do you repeat each lesson? Does it depend on the dog, or do you change It up to keep it exciting for both you and the pup? Any help would be appreciated and yes after exercise. Lol I am listening because I want a well mannered, calm attentive dog.
Your 12 week puppy is way bigger than my 13 week puppy? It almost makes me feel as if I may not be feeding him enough, or if I'm not doing something else right. He is 14 pounds. Any suggestions on to what I should change?
Hi Stonnie, thanks for your great videos. I'm from Puerto Rico and I have a 8 month male Malinois, my wife, daughter, son and I are in love with him, we have it since he was 4 month. Yesterday we start teaching him, this video. I have a question, should I keep him in the same training and for how long, or can I take him for example to the park and teach the same there? Thanks on advance.
I'm training this group of puppies without using food work, just to make a point. My preferred method is to do a lot of food work in conjunction with these techniques. So watch this series, but go back and watch my other series as well, then combine the techniques however they work best for your family. I take my pups out to practice in new situations as much as possible, so go ahead and practice in the park as soon as possible.
Thanks for your response, we are getting ready to the park NOW!! Lol. Yes I do the food reward and clicker. Thanks again, we wish you the best and happy holidays.
my dog just wont get up or jump to things taller than him. his 9months old. and evrytime i try to make him overcome obstacles he just want to get away from it like a boy who saw a ghost. no matter how i motivate him with praise, food, tug, etc. what can i do? really need help.
You make it fun for the dogs and the viewers to learn more about training. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.

Probably just scale, I'm a really small person.

Hi Stonnie. Great videos. Have you got any tips to stop a large (90lbs+) puppy jumping when he's excited to see people?
Is it just me or that puppy is huge for its age? My malinois is 12 weeks and a lot smaller

Sometimes they don't like to climb or jump because of a physical problem. You should probably have someone take a look at him.
oh thanks stonnie! glad you replied.
Nice
Thanks!
