    I actually had 6 Andrew Jones Pioneer Elite Towers matched with an Ultra Center and the timbre match was great along with 4 subs; 2 SVS SB 2000's in the rear and 2 elite subs in the front. My system is a 7.4.4, and it sounds great. I recently purchased 2 Ultra Towers for my front stage and everything still sounds great. The Ultras are louder and more base heavy but the Andrew Jones Pioneer Elite Towers are waaay more articulate in sound delivery.

    These look a lot like the Polk RTA 15TL towers from the late 80s. Look them up, they are absolute monster speakers. Huge, about 75lbs each speaker. Just picked up a pair for $50 and they sound better than my $3000 Focal towers. I typically hate vintage speakers and sell them as fast as I get them but these are insanely good. They were Polks flagship speakers which cost $1500 in the late 80s. Today they would cost $3500 and I truly believe they would hold their own against any modern counterpart at that price. What a score!

    I went SFPS52's to Pinnacles as well. I like the PP's better, but damn those AJ's are sweet. I got one pair for 40 bucks and the another entire set for 180. I'm a two channel guy, the whole set was for a friend.

    I run a 4.2 SVS Music Only System. Ultra Bookshelves, Prime Pinnacles and dual SB-3000’s with a Pioneer Elite SX-N30 Stereo Receiver.

    Thanks. Useful video. I am confused between these and the KEF Q950s.
    What do you own now?

    Thanks for the video! What crossover did you use for the Pinnacles? 80, 60 or lower?

    Nice review! I was just wondering, did you find the Prime Pinnacles a little hard to drive, or somewhat power hungry? Thanks for your input.

    Great review 👌🏼 In the UK these are 2k and the ultra towers are 3k. Would you save up the extra cash?

    I can’t hear my svs prime centre, it’s ear fatiquing, what do I wrong? I bought then kef q650c and seems to be much better for me, less punchy and less dynamic, but smooth and clear. I mean, I will try the svs once more as I didn’t sell it yet. Something I’m missing? Powered by denon x2300

    I have Prime towers & center now along with dual subs. Are the Pinnacles a big upgrade for HT or mainly noticeable for 2 channel?

    Love the review, I just purchased the same towers! I have the same issue with my couch being too high. Did you buy your risers or make them yourself? I’d love to get the tweeter at ear level. Thanks!

      I made them myself. And went the super cheap DIY route too! Haha. I bought four 12x12 patio bricks and some black felt from Walmart. Each riser is two bricks stacked and wrapped with the black felt. I think each riser probably cost a total of about $10-$12.

    hello, , I have SS-F7000 speakers (200 US {Pair )) (and all the surround subs and center channel matching), )) and they sound very good, pair with a denon X6500H), i Want to upgrade to this Pinnacle series (2000 US Pair), with Matching Subs and Surround and center Prime Series, my question is, can you check F7000 and tell me if i am going to be blown away with the upgrade, as they cost TEN times more, os are this F7000 like a hidden gem, and i will be spending money for the looks ?
    I ve did some research on measurements, and they seem to be misleading according to what they advertice (35-50k)when in some measurements they only did (50-10k), but i would love your take on this, and are this pinnacle in line with lets say a KEF 950q, ?
    Thank you and hope you find the time to respond I want to buy them asap :)

    How do these compare to Elac , Bro8, etc. ? Those are $1500 ish...

    • @rico9391
      @rico9391 3 года назад

      The Prime Pinnacles are clear, loud, and more base heavy. Three 6.5 base drivers. The elac's have what! 3, 5 2/5, base drivers.

    Do you still have this? I just bought them on your recommendation and I have to be honest they sound very harsh in the treble region

    • @HomeTheaterGamer
      @HomeTheaterGamer  2 года назад +1

      Unfortunately I do not. When I did have them, I didn't have any issues with harshness in the treble region, both with and without Audyssey running. And this was coming from speakers with soft dome tweeters.

    No sound test. Thumbs down.

    • @HomeTheaterGamer
      @HomeTheaterGamer  2 года назад +4

      Sound tests of a speaker recorded with a microphone then compressed for RUclips are completely pointless, which is why I rarely do them. You will never be able to gauge a speakers performance that way. But thanks for watching!
