This is the cutest bus build I’ve ever seem. I love the layout, color and designs everywhere. Comfy, artistic, quirky, cool. Feels like a real home. 😊❤️. The cat will use the catwalk but only when you aren’t looking. lol. 😊. The booties are so great so people can keep their shoes on when visiting. So smart!

Destiny did a great job! She also had the great sense to consult with the pros when she wasn't 100% sure if she was headed in the right direction, which is even smarter. She's an entertainer and she built her home to fit her work, makes perfect sense. It's her space and she built it to fit what she needs. Might not be what anyone else would pick, as comments indicate, but since no one else is living there, doesn't matter. I'm sitting here enjoying this video having a nice cup of coffee and she opened up that drawer the hidden one with the jewelry and I nearly spit my coffee all over the place.😂😂😂 This girl is incredibly unique, incredibly talented and she has such a sense of personality overload. I can't imagine ever being bored sitting with this girl in the room. Her sense of being eclectic is so in tune with who she is and what she is able to portray. Everything is for a reason and has some sort of annotation behind it. There is absolutely nothing cluttery about this woman. She has put so much thought and time into this creation and it is absolutely endearing. I had to give a thumbs down to a couple of her commenters. Glad you enjoyed, Kim! I have curtains for every window, but they can either tuck out of the way or come off completely for a tidier look. When I film tours, I tend to take most down completely (takes a few secs). They are also critical for keeping heat/sun/cold out! Mine are lined with UV reflective fabric.

Hi Destiny, I so want to do something similar, your idea of making your cat fav place an emergency escape crate is brilliant, especially if the kitten isn’t on bed with you. How do you round up the other kitten though? I’m very curious to know?!? So love your amazing home, not only did you do it yourself, but you were wise enough to have your work checked instead of having someone just do it for you that’s brilliant, you know your system and could probably fix it yourself. Okay, me again! This is a KIMMIE bus! I am Kimmie and when people come into my house they love the same thing in that when they look around they see something they didn't notice before. Now I live in 130 year old farmhouse so my things are a little bit more dispersed than her boss but it's the same concept. I like what I like and I display it proudly. My things bring me joy when I look around but I am also not obnoxiously attached to them. If you come to my home and you absolutely love something I have it's yours, take it home with you. I am in my 64th year now and it's time to start letting go of a lot of things. Are downsized 5 years ago and then I downsized again 3 years ago when we moved to Nova Scotia Canada. The idea was to move into a tiny home or build a container home yet here I am in a big huge old farmhouse. Who am I to argue with Allah and what he wants for me? On our 130 acre homestead we hope to have some buses and or tiny homes and or cabins where people can come and live out their lives in a kind loving relaxed community. In shaa Allah. 💯♥️🇨🇦🧕🧑🌾
Wow, what's in that bus is a lot! There is way too much going on. I fast forwarded trying not to get sensory overload but wasn't successful. I do applaud your bus build. You must have a good life inside your home on wheels. It's an extra long school bus. Once, I thought I wanted to be a school bus driver (I came to my senses just before the CHP drive test, thankfully). But I can't help but wonder why people are able to drive these tanker size buses without formal training. Learning all about the different gauges, buttons, levers, pedals, pressurized brakes, oil pressure, pre-trip inspections, and the difficult turning circumferences that's involved takes months! Even just one glance over the shoulder with a CHP on board is an instant fail👎. Your mirrors are your eyes. With a class of twenty, maybe seven, even make it to the DMV for the written test. It's not for everybody. How you and other skoolies get to drive legally on the streets and highways without the proper license is something I'll never understand.
I totally agree with you, Joanne! I really do wish that a special test or license was required across the board for anyone driving rigs as big as mine, but it's just not the case, unfortunately. I had planned to get my CDL as a precaution and feel safer on the road, but it was unfortunately too much for me financially (and the time requirements were impossible with my work schedule). I'd love to see something available between a standard license and CDL, with free or affordable provided training prior to testing. And yes, my home isn't for everyone, but that's what makes bus builds my favorite form of alternative home -- each one can be custom tailored to the person's needs and interests. For me, I appreciate seeing my life around me, reminders of the crazy adventures I've been on and, sometimes, as reminders of the really hard times I've gotten through.
@seek.life.elsewhere Yes, the CDL license is definitely something you have to put money aside for and have the time to invest in. But it's doable and a goal that is achievable with enough serious planning.
