Do the functions as coded trigger an infinite loop? They're listening to a node ('messages/{messageId}`) and in the onWrite() handler writing back into that node's subtree, so doesn't it re-trigger the onWrite()?

Shouldn't do in this instance as the text isn't different. More videos on Cloud Functions coming soon looking into this in more detail with infinite loops being showcased as an example.
