I am literally cracking open a beer for this right now (it's always better to drink for a good cause) and subscribing. Yeah, I admit, I've been shamelessly enjoying your videos without subscribing until now :).
Still needs another 1.5mm to make level. Just slightly loosen striker plate screws and tap striker up with hammer as it's more accurate that way. If striker is raised a touch it will probably make door level. If too low it keeps pulling door back down when closing. Probably too late now as car is most likely gone but you'll know for next time 👍
@@howardwilliams1218 It's common practice for making slight adjustments to doors that have little if any adjustment on the hinges. Just bends the hinge mounting a minute amount. Nothing to worry about 👍
Amazing so easy when you have the correct tools.
Good work Paul. Loads better
Your car repair videos always hinge on doing the cars right ,door looks better 👍

Hi Paul,I think we're so used to you being a bit of perfectionist leaving something isn't your usual way of doing stuff, keep the bids coming😎

not too sure about this Paul it is bending the door frame and not the hinges
@@paulmaclachlan6960 I’ve seen plenty of professionals using these.
Paul have you got a contact email I could down with speaking to you about a airbag ecu , are they plug and play or need coding?
@@kieronxr3i I’ve just replied to your messenger post
@@kieronxr3i no coding just a proxy alignment
WTF is that door tool!!!! Do it correctly with altering the hinges etc
It's a tool for tweaking. Professionals use them. FFS
Your just stressing the metal or deforming the door skin by forcing it upwards 😢
