Too stressful Joey. I like to just chill and watch you fix things. By blood pressure has shot up! 😳
😂😂😂
I have to agree, I'd need to watch this at a different time of day, it's stressful to watch at night
That was my thoughts for this one. I like to chill and relax and watch a calming repair video. Similar reason i don't watch the live stream videos either, its chaos.
Watching this video while i'm eating and for some reason I started eating fast like I was in a rush 🤣
Hahahaha! Love this!
It was really cool to see a timed repair. Shows just what minor mistakes could be made. Leaving parts out, missing a screw, not fully functioning ect. Always take your time. Better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks :)
Some professionals like to do this as a form of stress test, to focus not so much on a successful repair, but look at the process of the repair and then take note of any part of the prcess that can use improvement. EG: the time it takes to locate tools/parts can be reduced by setting up place holders for all tools and removed parts - nothing is just randomly sitting on the table. Joey should review this video and see if any part of the footage can show improvement points. Great video, and I look forward to seeing more challenge videos! Thanks!
Time to invest in a mini power screw driver Joey for times you do these RUclips time challenges lol
Haha I feel that would slow me down! ⚡
If I were you joey i would do it like tronic fix and repair 10-12 switches in a video. People love that 🤷♂️
yeah i remember when tronic fix bought about 20 odd switches in a job lot and then didn't break even :D
Although it was a stressful video to watch I must say this really show cased ur skills with repairs in that amount of time
I just watch and don't even like computer games - and I'm a dev of over 20 years!
Last game I played was the original Grand Theft Auto in the 90s(?) before anyone even knew what the title meant.
What a quality channel.
Tell you what, you stayed true to what you said, and tested it in the 30' while also cleaning up and going all out Joy correcto, so even if you didn't make it, congrats on the integrity and the good content.
We come here for these, really. Not the win or loss on the repair.
Wow! I was sweating, so I don’t know how you were doing that!
But it just goes to show how important the basics are when testing and repairing these.
Great work 👏
The pressure is killin me with this one! great job joey! awesome!
This was entertaining as well as a bit frustrating. Glad to see new content.
Nice you fixed it in 10min. ❤ Congratulations! It nice of you that you still give it away anyway. I'm sure you make someone happy with it
Great Job Joey, you got close. But taking that little bit extra time double checking things over is always well worth it. Keep up the great work
Aghhh, the stress was killing me, I don't think I could make this a regular thing. Nice job though, lucky it was just the one thing :)
Dang, Joey! Just watching this video gave me a whole heap of anxiety! It felt like I was watching a video of me trying to fix something when I know my camera's low on battery, and knowing if I don't speed it up and get it done on time, the battery will die before I finish. Ugh!
Well done though on *almost* getting it fixed within the timeframe. I like the technique of using the hot air station to remove the foam from the fan and heatpipe without having to rip it. I'll have to use that next time I tear one down!
Thanks for another good video! Stress makes u forget stuff, take things for granted and make mistakes, then trying to catch up the time u lost makes u stress even more and more mishaps.
But somebody is getting a switch 😊❤
Good effort mate, very close- lucky pick for the repair
Hahahha it was so stressful and fun at the same time.. excellent video my friend, i loved it!
Nice effort Joey I call this a win win win because to be fair, you did actually fix it in the 30 minutes, so it was a win. It's a win for us as you always put out an entertaining vid and it will be a win for someone who gets the console too. Thanks as always for sharing :)
Maybe extend it to 45 min🤣 this stress will kill you in the process😆
Keep it going bro!
Welcome to the world of manufacturers warranty repairs :) Many manufacturers I have had dealings with often only pay 1/2 hour labour for warranty repairs :)
Another top video repair, well done JDT.
Quite a challenge you've set for yourself mate, but 30 minutes is real tight, but you almost nailed it. Keep up the good work, love your vids!
Absolutely loved this video! Props to you! It was fixed I like the 15-minute mark haha 😂
As soon as the soldering job is done and it works, job is done 😂😂
I thought no way, but that was actually really close. Well done :D
Thrilling episode, with that clock it looks like you were defusing a bomb hahahaha
Doing this type of challenge for a charity stream would be cool. Enjoyed it even though it's quite hectic.
This video earned my sub. I do PC repairs myself, and I'll need to beef up my soldering skills to get to this crazy level of electronic repair to be able to fix many of the items in the PC world that could be of similar profit like GPUs and some motherboards and possibly RAM sticks. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing what else you can come up with! As an aside, there's a watch repair channel, Wristwatch Revival, that's really fun and entertaining as well as insightful on the repair processes of watch restoration. Anyways, peace!
Wow! Felt like that movie 'Speed' where they had to keep the bus over 50mph haha What a adrenaline rush!
That was a great video. You pushing yourself sometimes is good.
You didn't give yourself much room at all with that 30 min. deadline. I'd like to see a timed challenge with something that would need diagnosing. Nice job, regardless!
Wow Joey. What a great video. All your videos are great.
You're speed running fixes now?!? Love the concept!
Thanks :)
Who needs quality when you have SPEEEEED!!! 😅😂
Great vid 👍
Because you’re on a roll Joey I think you’ll do it.
Super fun video Joey, turn this into a series, maybe with a little more fair timer 😂
30 Minutes is a crazy short amoubt of time but non the less you did a great job. I like this new idea but please don't stress out.
Thanks bud :) no stress at all to be honest, part of the fun :)
@@JoeyDoesTech Nice. I like it.
i hope i win it it was so good to watch joey being so fast and in rush i thought u will might end up ripping some of flex cable but u did great gg for this one
Nice One brother!!! Always waiting for the next video!
That was stressful, but I loved it !!
Great video! You did pretty good for a speedrun.
I was stressing and I wasn't even the one doing the repair lol
Pure Entertainment... Love it... 😂
Just participated on discord , good try mate, was a real teeth clenching moment , keep up the awesome work mate. 🤙🏼🇦🇺
Joe from Australia 🤙🏼🇦🇺
i enjoyed it for a change of pace with the Nintendo switches, id like to see more " out of your depth " repairs, random things
Nice one! Watched this vid right after the Elden Ring stream. Double shot of JDT!
Cool to b trying sumthing different but I genuinely really like the content that u normally do Joey. Usually pretty relaxing and chill yet interesting but this was a bit stressful and I wasn’t the one doing the work
Amazing work 👏🏼👏🏼
Domino's Pizza had a promotion in the past, your pizza delivered to your door in 30 minutes or it was free. Close enough for me, good job. By the way, playing at 2X speed made you even faster 😂
I really thought you would knock this one out of the park. So close. But good content non the less. 👌🏻👌🏻
30 minutes pretty decent time for a port swap + assembly and testing
ahhh joey my kids would love one of these, been after one for ages,
Niice speed run Joey!! Such a shame u forgot the sd card reader!!
Joey are you still doing repairs for the none solder savy joe blogs as I can't seem to find a link only your merch
Was it on purpose to miss the screw in the metal pane below the battery connector to ensure that the Switch is not complete and you 'have' to give it away?
Joey, please just do your work carefully and accurately with no unnecessary time constraints !!
Fantastic Video!! It was sooooo Funny. Faster Bunnyman, Faster! Thanks for the entertainment. 😀
That was actually quite stressful, great work though.
Joey, Speedy, but nice Job!
I like it but i think it should be a hour atleast so it gives u time to fix it right as opposed to rushing thru it
Joey what microscope stand/holder have you got?
This is the one I have - andonstarmicroscope.com/products/andonstar-ad407?ref=JDT
The stand is just a VESA monitor arm, but you have to have the printed 3D bracket.
@@JoeyDoesTech thank you bro, ahh ok I'll look into that, I've got a couple of 3d printing contacts.
If that fully works you should keep it, you gained it
You checked the cpu cap so if that had a short game over CPU dead?
Joey I have a switch sont boot that the max ic is short can I ship it to you I get it foulty..
Dame the suspect was real, well you win some you loose some 😂
That was fast work!
You tried, this is one reason I never set a time limit because most times I always go over
God Bless you Joey😃😃
Discord giveaway already closed? I thought the winner was announced on 7th of july?
Apologies, I’ve re opened it now with the correct date! Completely my fault 😊
@@JoeyDoesTech No problem. Thnx for the fast reply. And I still like your videos 😁
Hey Joey! Love your videos! What microscope stand are you actually using? You can send me an affiliate link 😉
Hey there! This is the one I'm using - andonstarmicroscope.com/products/andonstar-ad407?ref=JDT
Steve and tonic fix..the perfect amount of paste..
That was very fun to watch 😂
No thanks lol, this is how i feel when the customer says 'how long will it take, im waiting outside' 😂
I think I need to lie down for a bit after all that excitement!
Excellent video m8 !!
Nice call out to Tronix :)
i like the idea and see you soon
great job
Big fan you got this!
speedrunning fixing a nintendo switch? new category unlocked!
I am wondering now how fast you can fix things normally off-camera.
The first time I see joey run out of words 😅
Thanks again 🎉🎉
Sees the time frame of the video….glad I already have a switch lol
30 minute apu reball on a ps is going to be fun.
Almost mate. Almost. Good video buddy
By tue way, nice stream of the Nintendo 3 DS.
AWESOME
Still waiting for the bunny suit
Would be nice to get a switch!! Please fix it…ha!
Nice Challenge 😎
Unfortunately, this type of content is not for me, I am a service technician and it hurts to see such haste during repairs, doing everything as quickly as possible :p
Take it easy. But it was kind of funny to see you stressed 😉
Haha thank you :)
Im joining to help my brother, he wanted one since day one but never listened to me when i told him to save money. Hope we win! I hope this teaches him to save money 😅
love it 😂
That was stressful.
nice try joey greetings from turkiye
You almost did it on time, but those screws were not making its part during the assembly process.
Great Video shame you didnt fix it in time..
Love your vids but this stressed me out…. I watch to relax 😂
