I watch the show to see and hear Colbert and his guests. If she and those like her can't control themselves in public then they have no business leaving their mud huts to begin with.

That would make perfect sense. Thomas Middleditch (and a lot of the other guys from Silicon Valley) did a lot of stuff with Pete Holmes, and Conan was largely responsible for Pete Holmes having a show after his. So yeah, it would logically follow that Thomas and Conan would get along famously, and share a similar audience.
Funny in literally everything he does but you should immediately look up Jake and Amir: Doobs, and his episode of Hot Ones. You won't regret it.

Im an atheist in the Army, a company commander, the other day I had to stand up to my brigade commander who wanted us to proselytize christianity in the barracks

Edit: he wanted us to go through the barracks and advertise Soldier led bible studies, I told him 'I have no interest in proselytizing, sir,' this was in a command team meeting with Brigade, Battalion, and Company commanders. Anyone else in the military knows how much balls it takes to look a full bird Colonel in the eye and say that in front of everyone.
But there was also a lawyer in the room who backed me up.
Stephen will ask some of the more outspoken atheists on occasion about it on his show, like Bill Maher or Ricky Gervais I guess, but as he's a Catholic himself it's not generally the focus of his interviews.
Still, the absurdity of an app that prays for you... as if the phrase "thoughts and prayers" wasn't meaningless enough already.
