Please forget DoorDash! I can do 9 deliveries with Spark (a few 2-3 batched pick ups and a few shopping) and make over $200. Small town here, too. Everything is close, so I don’t have to get an oil change every month and not driving my vehicle in the ground for $5 McDonald’s going 5-7 miles just to keep Top Dasher (we don’t have the tier program). We only have DoorDash and Spark here, and I only work 4-6 hours a day, that’s if I make $200 a day with Spark, but my daily goal is $100 and I can make that in a couple of hours. I’m just retired from FedEx Express. This gives me something to do and gets me out of the house. Children are grown and on their own with their families and my husband manages a restaurant so he’s always working. But I hate walmart, and only go there if it is completely unavoidable. Just driving near a walmart puts you at a greater risk of having an auto accident.
I think a lot of people are getting tired of jumping thru hoops and being manipulated into taking orders that aren’t worth it just so they have the privilege of scheduling more shifts so they can take more bad orders trying to keep their ratings high enough to accept more bad offers . And the people who don’t care about ratings now , aren’t even able to schedule much. There’s a lot of tension for real , and a feeling of resentment . I have spark and I’m gonna start using it more .

Im a retired state employee. Also dash for "fun" & extra cash! Yeah, so, i dont need the $,but its fun, gets me out the house & i enjoy it--nice supplemental income, but sometes!!
I don't think Pedro's deactivation had anythi g to do with "the video". Or showing a customer's first name and last initial. I'm pretty sure it was because he bad mouthed a customer in the chat. And rightfully so, but still people are coming up with some wild speculations.
They should also deactivate customers for being verbally abusive to dashers. It's actually a real problem, you can google the fact that they made an AI system to detect verbal abuse in the chats.

If they had any type of conversation at all, they will say she felt uncomfortable for whatever reason. And blame him for it. It is because of the "all inclusive" environment at Starbucks. America, home of the comfortable, land of the permission.

How big is your town? I'm in huntsville alabama, but there's a lot of drivers here. Thinking of moving to a smaller town myself
