its not expensive bill, cambelt change is only around 500eur, and is required every 100k km, belt in oil is stupid design, but its easy to check the wear of the belt and prevent the failure
This engine is in agony at 200. It's not made for that, but with reasonable everyday usage I guess it could be reliable with propper maintenance like changing oil at 10k rather than 30k that factory is stating😊
for autobahn speeds you need to tow gas station with you,at around 200kmh this eats around 20 liters of fuel which are more then some much bigger vehicles and 350-450hp
@@NecPluribusImpar why not?? it have 130hp== same engine or at least same hp and 1,2 liter ones was and are in (old and new) Opel Astra and they consume much less
I bought mine in January. I love it despite the engine not being that powerful (1.2 turbo puretech, 130 hp).
The engine sounds good
I much prefer the sound of a triple turbo to a boring inline 4 turbo
nice looking car, unfortunately, old engine is missing (308 GTI 1.6)
Peugeot 308 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍💯💯🫶🫶
if this engine survives 100000km without bigger expensive mechanic repairs it will be miracle
Nah. I’ve had Audi that got to 30,000 and needed expensive repairs. All cars breakdown

I would buy this if I had to chose a daily car
The motor will break down very soon and you´ll regret not buying another brand.

30k? In what country? I have this engine in Opel Corsa and oil change is every 15,000km or 1 year.
I change oil after 5k km.
almost 11k km impressive the engine did not broke yet😅
Yeah exactly and i pity the fool who later buy this very car after this punishment.
New Puretech engines are fixed. The don’t have the same problem with the belt.
YET 🤣
