Vimbuza Dance of the Spirits

Vimbuza Traditional Dance of spirit possession among the Tumbuka people of Lundazi District of the Eastern Province of Zambia in Southern Africa. The Dancer is "Dr." Kasolola Traditional Healer of Chipeni Village in Chief Magodi in Lundazi. Vimbuza is a cultural specific illness with unique symptoms.The only cure is for the patient to dance often for the whole night.
