Done this before but with 3ds max. I can say this method is really optimized. I made a stadium full of animated crowd for mobile game for an event and it worked flawlessly.
But that wouldn't have let me show the reverse face issue that comes up often :P Don't you go poking holes in my fails! But yes, you absolutely could, and should use Mirror for this.
Thank you so much. Hopefully 'Houdini For Game' will continue.

Great! Please do more tutorials about "Houdini vs Unreal Engine 4".
It would be very very great :)! Thanks.
Such an amazing tutorial, thanks so much.
Quality tutorial, thank you very much!
Great! Would be cool to have a node in the Unreal material editor that could parse the Houdini script.
Great 3D Animation Basics!
Houdini + Unreal = Future
The closing sure is smoothy sexy.

Could you make a tutorial about how to make an animation of a ghost knifefish?
I can get vertex animation working but when I do a sequence render it doesn't seem to animate
who is this guy, he so funny.
Wow!!)))
whats the parameter node name in unreal used to control the speed.
It's called "Scalar Parameter". More info here: docs.unrealengine.com/en-US/Engine/Rendering/Materials/HowTo/Making_Parameters/index.html
Do this in Maya pls.
It is a crime to work with Maya after you learn Houdini !
@Spiky Danto Are you talking about blender in the presence of the almighty lord, Houdini ??
