I feel you on the family thing! Recently was done wrong and treated badly by family I held close to my heart and it hurt so bad... People you thought you could count on and trust and they hurt you, it's just... it's so unexpected and hurts more than if a stranger did it. As you said, time might heal the emotional pain but not the spiritual.. It's something you'll never forget for sure, it will always be there in your heart and mind when you see them. You'll never be able to trust them the same way again. You just gotta make sure to protect yourselves from here on out. If they can do it to you once, they will do it again. Keep your guard up. It sucks to do with family, but after the trauma, it's what's best. I love you both!! Keep your heads up and keep pushing through. This is a small storm and the sunshine is on its way

Awwww Montana and Ryan, I'm so sorry. I understand and sympathize with what you're going through right now. It feels like being in a slump, stuck in a rut, unable to find the motivation to get out of it. I too am struggling to get a routine, lacking energy, depressed, anxious. I'm so sorry for you all. The only advice I can offer that has helped me, is try and find something small that you can be glad about every day. Something that makes you feel accomplished, grateful, productive. Even if it's just cooking 1 meal, folding one load of laundry, changing the linen, taking Kio for a walk. It doesn't have to be much, just one thing. Focus on that and smile and then as you both feel stronger, you can try to accomplish more in a day. Also, don't be so hard on yourselves. You're only young, I'm only 26, I too need to do this. Don't beat yourselves up for not getting everything done perfectly the first time, nobody is perfect. The fact that you're still showing up for life every day, that is enough. YOU are enough.
