The 1.6s sound amazing. Very unique yet they still retain a soul and still sound extremely aggressive. This one of the best sounding ones I've heard (volume wise)

I love that sound of the V6 engine
I'm starting to enjoy these V6 sounds more than the other engines, especially the off-throttle "BRRRR" sound! Do a comp of just these sounds please!!
I like last years model better with the high and narrow rear spoiler, This seasons spoiler looks like the 2007 season. I'll get use to it I hope.

I thought that 3 years later these cars would sound good to me as i will have adjusted but its not there, there is no soul to that sound it draws away from what a wonderful machine that is

I prefer the V10s and V8s but something that I like about the V6Ts is something that pre-V10 engines also had and that's the sound of power, it sounds tough, aggressive

nope. Sorry. Not this year. I honestly believe the Ferrari is a far better handling car and has near enough to the same grunt as the Mercedes to be better overall.

David Land hahah he was quite amazed by that particular solution Mercedes was testing in that moment. You can barely see it but on the top of the fin there's a hole probabily designed to output hot air from the engine and create some sort of aero work on the back.

We saw almost all combinations of the sharkfin and t-wing:

The only thing we didn't see was the sharkfin by itself.
Box Car Racer You're right but I'd precise the "shark fin + single T-wing" is a very very special solution since it has a hole on the top of the fin. 7th_dimension they're called air rakes, as weird as they look, they only use it on practice to test the car's aerodynamics

I've said it on other videos, but that Mercedes seems to have understeer going in, and some slight oversteer exiting under power (a bit like the FW94 had). We're also seeing the Mercedes drivers lift off through certain corners to help keep the car stable, whilst the Ferraris are able to push the cars through entry/mid/exit of corner. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Ferrari will with the 2017 WDC and WCC will be about half a second faster than the Mercedes cars on average at most circuits.

ffs shut up with this shit, every F1 video there is some dipshit crying about the v10. These sound awesome and sound even better in person. Get over the fucking v10! it wasnt that amazing!
I think you would like the sound of the turbo V6's if they got rid of the fuel and rev limit restrictions. They are just being run in ECO mode, so they arent being pushed like the natural aspirated engines of the past and it shows in the way it sounds. Turbo engines can sound just as good if done right.
