How many were in MACV-SOG? ~7000+.
1100+ mia as of today. 4K KIA? I don’t think the numbers are too far off. Quite few remain alive today, 1/2022. So many of these men who didn’t return earned the MOH, they just got it given to them in heaven.
@@roymoore3156 There was over 100% casualty rate, that alone is crazy to me. Also let's remember that indigenous Vietnamese SOG warriors were there too, many times serving many more missions (if they survived). Jocko Podcast has amazing episodes with some of these heroes, such as "Cowboy" Khanh Doan, who actually served 5 YEARS in SOG, was wounded many, many, times, lost his foot and finally escaped Vietnam in 1980s on a boat
@@hisdud3ness93 yeah, the fact that like Stryker-Meyer, there were fellas that were able to log two and more tours of duty in SOG...and some are even alive today, it’s astonishing! Simply remarkable that they were able to accomplish their mission, and then be alive at its conclusion.

John is truly meek. The only way to witness the infinite power of self-realization is through surrender. This is meekness. This, the only true power, cannot be wielded, it can only be realized as it stands as singularity. Meekness is a requirement to enter its felt presence.
