Thank you again, Elizabeth. I've been binge watching your channel this week and it really stands out in the sea of workshops/advice that I have come across. So super helpful.

Michael is brutally honest. This is so good. Very few people actually tell it like it is. I like that. These are things people need to need to know to succeed and be successful. If an Art Director is has an attitude about that not setting you up to succeed, move on. so good advice. College does not prepare you. No one talks about this.

Agree! That's part of the reason Michael and I get along so well, we share that goal of being (sometimes brutally) honest 😀Thanks for watching Jade

@@ElizabethSilver What does Micheal say at 15:26 in the video? You both are talking & I can't make out what he says. Also, for licensing in general, (not freelancing), is he indicating that using licensed material from Creative Market is not acceptable?

I liked this interview. But what I see is that this is information for those wanting to work as contractors (freelance designers) for him or other companies, and not really aimed for licensed designers. I get some of the tips are very good, but at the end it's more for freelancer work. Am I wrong on this?

    • @ElizabethSilver

True, Micheal's advice is more specific to freelance surface design work than licensing work.
