That Gavroche moment got me good. The acting! The tonality in the vocal, the halt in the middle of the phrase, the way the arm falls and he drops on the body. I replayed and replayed that moment.

its so much fucking worse live. oh my LORD it is devastating. i'll never forget going to see it, and gavroche got shot and grantaire _screamed_ and i was just a sobbing, sniveling mess in the nosebleeds. i didn't stop crying for about 2 hours after going to see les mis, that shit hurt me
The take the money part of 21 chump street always makes me cry. Actually scratch that, everything Anthony Ramos sings brings tears to my eyes.

When first saw home from Beetlejuice I balled my eyes out the acting is on point has anyone seen Sophia Anne Caruso run OFF the stage because the song is so emotional poor girl
She was sick but I agree it is very emotional song

I was Daniel in a local production of “Once on this island” and when this video says it’s one of the saddest moments, it’s not wrong. I had to try the hardest I have ever tried in my life not to cry on stage, the person playing Ti Moune was so amazing it was so hard not to let all of my tears out
I am so happy that you included I Am The One from Next to Normal. I personally don’t think it receives the credit it deserves. It is such a fantastic musical, yet few people include it in their compilations. Thank you!!!

I did Once on This Island as a preteen in a summer workshop playing a storyteller and it’s now 10 years after I did it and seeing When We Are Wed here it hurts a lot more than now it did back then understanding the scene now that I’m older.

So, fun little story time. I lost my mom to cancer when I was 11. Before she died, she wrote letters to my sister and I. Four years later, my grandmother decided to take my sister and I to go see Billy Elliot. We didn't know what it was about. We got to the letter song, my sister and I looked at each other, and both just started crying. And our oblivious grandma, had no idea why we were crying as hard as we were. Needless to say, it was an awkward ride home

I feel you. I don’t believe it’s an accident though that the show is choreographed that way and that they perform it like that. Of course we’re uncomfortable who knows the story but sitting there I think it’s meant to be amusing and get a laugh, the entire song is filled with innuendos and jokes. It makes the moment after when K Howard breaks down (and people finally get what she has been going through) all the more powerful
