Kampong Wak Selat through my Eyes

Selat was a household brandname. A direct translation of the Persian word Selat will be Straits. There are so many places here in Singapore that are associated with Selat. I am here to revisit Kampong Wak Selat because right opposite the Straits of Johor is Sungai Temon; the settlement of Orang Seletar whom were once 'Singapurians'. I hope you enjoy this video. Iyya benar abang. Sebab is terletak di hujung Semenanjung Asia. Orang Cina panggil Pulau Ujung sebagai ‘Pu Lochong atau Silat Po. Silat Po itu ialah ‘Pulau Selat’

From the Malay word 'selat' comes this word 'Selatan' Pulau Singapura..the 'Southern' tip of Malaysia. There is why Singapore is also known as Pulau Hujung tip top of the Royal State of Johor Darul Takzim(Johor obsequiousness & respect)...Daulat Tuanku!

ALhamdulillah sama sama bro. Singapura secara am, memang banyak terdapat kubur2 dan makam2 yang kita tak terambil berat. Banyak kubur terdiri pada berbilang bangsa tiada tanda/nisan. Bayangkan ramai askar2 Jepun yang mati di tanah air kita hanya ditanam dengan tiada apa2 nisan.
