@@sheluvslxchie the problem is once you put your airpod in lost mode, and the other person uses it for the first time you will get live notification and you can track it real time. However if they reset it you will not get live notification. But you can still track it. If you go in find my device it will show last used place and time Hope this helps

Unfortunately all you have is the last known location if it pops up. If not then you have notify when found but if those options aren’t available then unfortunately all you can do is look.
Unfortunately it's realy tough with airpods. Once they die, its pretty much a last location and then just search. You can mark them as missing in the Find My app but you would pretty much have to search manually. I have had 4-5 different sets of AirPods, AirPods Pro etc... I have lost nearly all of them. I only have my Pros and half of the AirPods 2 left. So easy to lose.

Glad you liked it. Offline is tough to find. When I was looking for apps like that years ago they were full of ads or you had to pay for them. Not sure of any these days though especially for iPhone. A lot for Android though.

I’m not sure to be honest. Maybe location services are off on your iPhone? You might just have to call Apple about this. It’s odd to me that it isn’t there.
I don’t think all the headphones have the features he showed. He is assuming some of these changes came with iOS 15 but I think it’s iOS 15 and gen3 and Max maybe Beats Fit Pros but I don’t think the AirPods Pro or Gen 2/1 have these other features. The Gen3 and Max (maybe Fit Pro) for example has a feature called “find my network” this is NOT an option for the older headphones. These enhancements are not iOS 15 enhancements they are Gen3 enhancements.
This happened to me and all I had to do was go to location services and press allow to share my location, I choose while using app and it worked for me. Hope this helps

If you have the AirPods Pro 2nd generation there is a tracker in the case and you can use the find my app. Unfortunately if the case is any other version and the AirPods aren’t inside, then you have to just look normally.
There’s an awesome case by spigen that holds the AirTag perfectly like ironman’s chest arc reactor. It’s called “spigen tag armor duo” if you want to look it up. The only bad review is by an idiot who thought it was redundant to have an AirTag on the case and doesn’t even own the product.

That was my plan anyways lol I might also put them on a lanyard so I can designate a hook to keep them. If nothing else, the lanyard might make it harder to lose & easier to spot. :)

Depends if it’s in range or not. In Bluetooth range it can be right on within a few feet. Out of range it uses other iPhones/iPads/MacBooks to ping its location and then you get a general idea.

I don’t think the other AirPods can be locked down if lost “lost mode”. I think the lost message is just for the Gen3 but I might be wrong.

If you have the AirPods, reset and connect them again. Then check the find my app.
