I have a catless 05 GT with Longtube headers, stock h pipe, and 5.0 mufflers. Should I go other mufflers or off road h. Sounds quieter with 5.0 mufflers in top end now but tone changed from stock mufflers.
I had a 2006 4.0 with dual magnaflows in high school at idle my mustang group thought it was a v8 but at higher rpms it had a nice higher import tone to it I also had a bunch of 5.0 foxes as projects but really hoping to get a 3v soon they sound amazing
I've always wondered, why didn't they offer the twin turbo v6 from the Taurus SHO and F150 in the Mustang? It would've been cool to have a twin turbo muscle car from the factory, even though people would crap on it for not having a v8.
Sadly that’s true it would’ve been faster I would have loved to see them add power to the coyote with a supercharger or turbo and twin turbo the v6 but that would put prices too high for a lot of people

Last time they put a big turbo on a car out the factory..it showed that no car from any of the auto makers could keep up..86-87 grand national at that time and beyond

The reason she sgreed to get it was because we just decided to stop by Ford dealer and they happened to have earlier year 2017 mustang (It was 2018) and they wanted to get rid of it since it was the last one at the dealer and it was also previously owned by a man who became terminally ill and he gave it back to the dealer. So after that they offered her a absurdly good deal on it and $11K for her 200K mile, 2000's camry and she took the deal, did the paperwork and drove it home.

Agreed. The only problem is that it would have actually crippled their 5.0L sales. The Kia Stinger GT with a twin turbo charged V6 is doing exactly that right now and it will beat a Mustang 5.0L down the quarter mile. That being said, if you have a 3.7 V6 Mustang, there is a turbo kit for it that can take it up to 700 hp.

I got a 04 3.9L v6 mustang and its a true dual no xpipe previous owner had changed from the stock single exit exit to a dual. It sounds nice has its cats still and 2 mufflers although I'm thinking of straight piping it and making it louder
Congratulations. You managed to take 4 cars and make them all sound like sh*t. Even if one is to like the sound of the car on the outside, the rasp and the drone will take the joy out of the driving experience. I haven't heard an Ecoboost Mustang that sounds good. They all sound like fart cans. The only way they can sound halfway decent is to use MBRP mufflers with the resonator being optional. When it comes to the V6, replace the X-pipe with an h, add resonators, and flow through axle backs. The V8s are easy. Replace the factory axle backs with one that has a flow through design such as Borla. I don't know why people think loud is good. Loud an be good if the exhaust note is nice. I suppose there are some people that are so desperate for attention that any is good even if it means people cringe when you drive by,
I’m glad you said this also add bbk long headers on that V6 honestly though the V6 and the V8 you can get speed and good sound the rumble sounds but V8 more. I’m not too worried about the V6 it’s just we’re the car community is heading with this V8 only thing. I personally like both V8 and V6. V8 is 8/10 and the V6 from Ford/Nissan/infinity/Toyota Supra/Jaguar/Alfa Romeo/Maserati they can sound very good and I’ll give a 7.5/10. I give the V10 a 9.5/10. The raspy sound literally are on the I4/V6/V8 so the work needs to be done on all but personally that I4 eco boost isn’t a sports car or muscle car it shouldn’t even be in the mustang trims. No offense why would they fix something that was never broken? Just simply add a tt V6 that makes about 395hp to 410hp that will be smart because people are still going to buy a V8 anyways. Also it will grasp more sells too but then I wouldn’t like for everyone to be in a mustang. They should have a tt V6 that has about 3.8L with about 395-410hp and priced around exactly $29,000 with rwd 0-60 in 4.3’seconds and $31,000 with awd 0-60 in 4.2 and have a naturally aspirated V6 with 3.8L 330hp priced around $24,500 only with rwd 0-60 in 4.6 secs. Also Ford should have a supercharged V6 with 390 hp priced at $28,000 with rwd 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and $29,500 with awd 0-60 in 4.2. Idk they could have did some things with the V6 or V6R because they can sound very Good and has so much potential!
