So there isn't any fastmers going the wood in? Just the tongue and groove then the metal trim at the end?

For the most part. Any place a carriage bolt of going through is holding the wood in though. That coupled with the tongue and groove and it’s all tied together pretty solid.

I have double walled metal walls on my trailer no wood. I tried to cover the metal with wood but the metal walls are so thick I can't drill into them. What are you thoughts on gluing the wood boards to the metal on the inside...

You may need a different drill bit. You could definitely try some strong construction adhesive. It would be my preference to have them removable though for replacement or repair in the future. You could weld in some angle iron on the front and back edges so that it would form a channel to slide the boards into. I hope that helps.

are the wood walls sufficient for cold and heat insulation?

Personally, I think the wood is sufficient. You could add some insulation if you wanted to though. These trailers aren’t really meant to be climate controlled like an apartment or anything though. While in use, there will be a serving window that is open most of the time and that will likely negate the insulating factor. A small propane heater or fan would probably give you enough temp control to stay comfortable.

Im confused, did you screw the wood to the metal trim/frame?
That's what im trying to figure out how to do.
My trailer has the metal walls. I want to somehow secure cedar boards to all the inside walls.
Then ill have something I can easily screw shelving into.
(I'm turning a horse trailer into a pop up succulent shop...no horses for me...)

The majority of the wall is essentially sandwiched between two pieces of metal. Then there’s just a few carriage bolt fasteners that hole it all in. No need to bolt in every board. Hope that helps!
