Kurt, I have to say that barrel prick oops was just so funny!😂😂😂 also great Kyle the editing was great!!! I was crying because I was laughing so hard!!!
Yes bring on the sister. A newbie episode would be interesting with you guys curating 4 or 5 sips for her to try to see what she thinks and if she prefers any. I like doing this for people who don't know bourbon.
Lee W. Sinclair….seriously can you give me an example of any bourbon or whiskey priced at $101.99. L😂L, that guess made me chuckle thinking about someone trying to squeeze two additional dollars out of the buyer. I love your channel. Great job.
I voted for price that pour, subtitle - “They want HOW much?” Lol Really enjoyed this video, I would love to see your wife sub in some odd pours like blends, Canadians, and very expensive trying to trick you. Mainly to get an unscripted impression.
On the Flintstones, their parody of the game show was called "The Prize is Priced". You could maybe borrow that title or try "The Nose Knows" or "The Whiskey WAG (Wild Ass Guess)".
Left this comment a few videos ago, but now I’m sold it’s a good idea for a new game show Friday blind! Both of you have $100 to wager. There are 6 blind bottles you taste and then bid on. Both must end with 3 bottles and minimum bid for a bottle is $15. That way you can go a bit crazy on a bottle but you can’t spend it all. Then who vote who has built the better lineup.
If that Zeppelin Bend single malt is a single barrel from Hoffmans & SWMBH, I can assure you the MSRP is not $60. That bottle was available to purchase last winter and I wanna say was $90-$100. Still a great buy though! I love everything that New Holland is doing

I don't know if I "saved" bad bottles, but I've definitely improved some by dropping a charred oak spiral in the bottle and leaving for 2 weeks, or a few months if it's super youthful. Last bottle I did that with was Old Emmer from Total Wine. Bought because it was heavily discounted and thought why not try it. Not good. But I made a home blend also using Makers Mark with a "Prudent Pappy" idea, dropped in an oak spiral for 2 weeks, and while still not amazing, is at least drinkable. Could have probably kept the spiral in there a bit longer.
I have a Benchmark single barrel that is remarkably close to most Blanton's I've had. The only difference is the Benchmark just tastes a tad bit younger. I could totally see the Full Proof being very close to a Blanton's SFTB. I've never had SFTB, so there's that.
In my best Bob Barker, "Price is wrong b*tch..." And Kurt, that is a sound clip that will live in infamy. You guys rock. Thank you and keep up the great work. Cheers
Love this format. I get a better perception of the analysis as the critique is put your money where your mouth is. Add this (value guess) to all challenges.
great lineup. I really need to get a new holland zeppelin blend somehow. one of my favorite bottles is the westward single malt cask strength so I might be a single malt guy. But that Blanton’s straight from the barrel is dynamite
Need that save a bourbon video as a cocktail video If needed. I have Noah's Mill and Pure Kentucky that I can not not enjoy the finish. Help !! Cheers 🥃
I tend to agree with the sentiment, but to be fair those all have water added. Something barrel proof would have a lot less bottles per barrel for them to sell
Call it “price that pour”
I second that!
Has my vote
This ☝️
It gets my vote
Bravo tengland ...you just get a marketing commission!!
Like how you guys keep pumping out videos that are informative and entertaining
Kurt, I have to say that barrel prick oops was just so funny!😂😂😂 also great Kyle the editing was great!!! I was crying because I was laughing so hard!!!
That's the best cut I've seen in a while :D
Blanton's SFTB on OnlyDrams lists $159.99 for the MSRP, which is correct. I think mom was looking at regular Blanton's or single barrel select maybe.
Yep, that’s how much it’s posted on OHLQ as well!
Call it “You paid how much?!”
Loved the slip up Kurt!! And… good job Kyle with the edits!! I do love these and hope you keep them coming!
“Don’t Tell My Wife”
I love that name! It's my favorite!
“I HATE IT WHEN YOU SAY THAT 👀 😡 “
Had me rolling….
Dada meant that.😂
The normal zeppelin low proof is $60. The single barrel cask strength was $89.99 at Meijer when I got it.
Great editing, Kyle!!
Great video! From the description I now have to find a bottle of that Zeppelin Bend. I just love those darker chocolate coffee notes.
It's hilarious that Trenton keeps wiping off the board with his elbow and refuses to reach for the paper towel right next to him. 😅
The oyster ice topping mentioned is likely from RPM seafood or Rosebud 🍻
Love the video! Trenton goes down. Old man taste buds!
I love love love watching your videos! I love bourbon and you guys have exposed me to some great pours and keep me laughing! Thanks

This video had me cracking up a number of times! 😂
On the Flintstones, their parody of the game show was called "The Prize is Priced". You could maybe borrow that title or try "The Nose Knows" or "The Whiskey WAG (Wild Ass Guess)".
AS a Blanton's fan i saw SFTB was missing from the back and guessed it would be one of the tested ones
Great episode and nice slip up Kurt.....😂
😊 Bourbon Bucks
Might be the name for it .
"The Price is Wrong!"
You left off one of the words...LOL

The pour is right
Would love to add a ranking to this before the unveiling

I happened to finish off an Ancient Age tonight. Pisswater compared to the others, or anything else on that bar!
We were just at Shipshewana not too far from you and they had some great malted milk balls (triple chocolate coated.
I have never had a barrel prick, but I pricked my hand on a barrel once.
Good job Trenton you called the blantons straight up.
I was thinking about getting into American Single Malts until the oyster came into play. Fudge and oysters...
Impressive Trent called Blanton’s straight from the barrel from a couple sips, even though Kurt won the Price is Wrong game
He didn’t really call it though. He just mentioned it amongst others and he didn’t price it according to the actual price of the bottle.
"The Pour House"
I have a Benchmark single barrel that is remarkably close to most Blanton's I've had. The only difference is the Benchmark just tastes a tad bit younger. I could totally see the Full Proof being very close to a Blanton's SFTB. I've never had SFTB, so there's that.
call it "pour pricing" in honor of Trent's 0/4
i appreciate this pun
In my best Bob Barker, "Price is wrong b*tch..." And Kurt, that is a sound clip that will live in infamy. You guys rock. Thank you and keep up the great work. Cheers
I love that Trenton thought the straight from the barrel might be benchmark full proof. Why chase $$$ allocated bottles!😂
He nailed it on first guess tho!
SLB Value Challenge: where the whiskey is real and the points don't matter.
Love this format. I get a better perception of the analysis as the critique is put your money where your mouth is.
Add this (value guess) to all challenges.
Because you will miss the price more than get it correct.... "The Price is Wrong"...is fitting!
Hilarious guys! Thank you as always
Another great video gentleman.
Yes, teach me to save Castle & Key Small batch and rabbithole cavehill. Both are terrible to me.
great lineup. I really need to get a new holland zeppelin blend somehow. one of my favorite bottles is the westward single malt cask strength so I might be a single malt guy. But that Blanton’s straight from the barrel is dynamite
This video was hilarious 😂😂
Great video.....throw Calumet 8 year into that "what to do with a bad tasting bottle"
After this video, i think it should be "prick" that pour" 😂
Kurt RARING to go right out of the gate!
I love these videos.
“Don’t look at my stuff bro” lmao
That was fun! Although I was about to get in my car and drive to Indiana for that $75 SFTB 🤣
Been drinking Lee Sinclair for several years. Always have a bottle on hand.
Need that save a bourbon video as a cocktail video If needed. I have Noah's Mill and Pure Kentucky that I can not not enjoy the finish. Help !! Cheers 🥃
Dang! Kurt 4 - 0! Skunked Trenton. 😊
What's this whiskey worth? Also, I think Rebecca looked up the price on regular blantons and not SFTB.
Can you review Calumet bourbon
Straight from the barrel is up around 200 now. Crazy.
PS who hates pizza???
Trenton can call if "PP (price prediction)"
There should always be a bottom shelf "good" bottle in this game.
I do enjoy some Spirits of French Lick. Sad they are slowing down operations at the distillery.
Kurt seemed a little “happy” in this episode. 😂
"The Price Ain't Right!" 😁
I wish my Zeppelin Blend was that good. Mine is horrible. And I usually love New Holland stuff.
Price the Flight
“The price is RYE’D “ 😅😅😅
Kurt “ PRICKED “ all the right ones ! LOL.!!!!
Bang for the Buckers, or Buck Burners.
"Price that pour"
When is someone going to explain to Trenton how to play the game 😂 Cheers SLB!
Call it “Price this Flight”
"price that proof"
Man, I gotta find that Zeppelin bottle.
Priced Right 🥃
Call it "over/under" And Rebecca (sp) gets the price, it can be shown, then you guess what the bourbon is, over or under the price she shows.
Do you guys do the live on RUclips or patreon? I Would love to catch it if possible. And like Always this was a great video
Sip and Price (SAP)
If you want good oysters just go to NOLA... or, any oyster farm where you get them right out of the water.
“The Price is Rye”
When can we expect more SLB Tries videos??
"pour man's appraisal"
Price Spot the Shot!
No Bourbon should be over 50-60 bucks..... Buffalo trace, early times bib, old grand dad bib, wild turkey 101...etc proves this ❤
I tend to agree with the sentiment, but to be fair those all have water added. Something barrel proof would have a lot less bottles per barrel for them to sell
“Your mother hates pizza”
WHAT?!
Price it perfect!
How much is that sip!
Wow so are single malts really that much better of a value? Y’all both guessed way high on both A & B
Flawless Victory!
Price the Pour!
I think if you guess the bourbon you should automatically get the point as long as the price you guessed didn't go over msrp.
16:29 will live in infamy! Lolol
How much cash for that mash
Suggested names: "Bourbon's Barter Price" or "What's the Whiskey Worth"
“Price your pour”
SFTB srp is like 130-140
“Write the price”
Closest to the price
