Loaded with flavor, this vegetarian burrito bowl makes a great addition to your trail food line up. While most burrito bowls use rice as their base, we decided to use quinoa instead. Quinoa has a more well-rounded nutritional profile and can serve as a complete protein. It also has a unique taste and texture that we felt really compliments this meal. Спорт

This tastes pretty good. I prepared some in the Instant Pot. But I never got to dehydrate it, the whole family ate it for lunch.
BTW, Instant Pot cooking... put all the ingredients except the bean into the pot. Set on pressure cook high for 1 minute and allow for a natural release.
Please please please we need like 50 more of these! This is exactly what I've been looking for!

How much of the dehydrated mix = one serving?
Hi! The entire recipe yields four servings, so 1/4 of the recipe mix would equal one serving. (Of course the serving size can be sized up or down for personal preference.)
I'm keeping my curry katmandu meal in my camping food.

Why Quinoa?
Good combo of protein and carbs and it's filling. One of the more nutrients rich grains

was hoping for something a thru hiker could use...this is definitely not it
substitute the quinoa with couscous or a riceside and use dehydrated beans, chips on top and wrap it in a tortilla - best meal on a thru hike!
