It's honestly kind of sad how Red and Dmitri turned out in the end. Dmitri wasn't a perfect man and their relationship wasn't that real but they've been through so much together and even have a family that the divorce just felt painful to me.
Out of all the characters, reds back story is my absolute favourite

The actress was told to do a light accent but she went full force and she nails it, she reminds me of my mentor who passed away from she was a tough cookie like red.

As a Russian-speaking person, I want to say that they picked up good actors. They speak almost without an accent
The other girl looked more like Red to me... they should’ve just given her ginger hair and it would’ve been a perfect casting
I will mever forgive the show because of what they did to red at the end of the series. can't believe she ended up with fcking dementia, she didn't deserved that at all! I think the russian mob got busted storing bodies in her bodega and she took the fall for it
i think it’s just because she got caught up being part of the russian mob and they pinned stuff on her for hiding a body
The confusion is because J walking level convict wrote the book and hollywood yuppies made the show (the actresses amd actors are very good) about drugs and murderers and extortion.

how did you figure out the timeline of all the scenes?
Nicole Gulino I use the fandom wiki page for the character and scrub the episodes it states looking for flashbacks. Then I make a note of what’s in each flashback and I place them in order of youngest to oldest

I don’t understand Bakers dozen.... what’s the exact story behind that? Why did they kill the kid and why did the mother blame Red for it?
red thought the kid was too young and innocent to do the job, and she warned the mafia not to use him. i'm guessing the kid chickened out so the mafia killed him and told red she was right. that's why the mom blamed her
Red was trying to get the boy off the hook from doing the dirty work of the mafia because he hated it. So she created some excuse that he's a mama's boy so the mafia would lay off him and make him run errands instead. unfortunately, they killed him because Red was right because he was too loose and they couldn't trust him. Red didn't mean to have the boy killed.

Vee was a true menace and Red was a fool to think she was ever her friend. Her biggest mistake wasn't having backup... it was running her mouth to begin with. The same way she sonned her own husband because she want to feel important since those prissy little housewives didn't want her around. Hell, if she didn't lose her temper and popped the leader's boob those mob guys wouldn't of been in her shop to begin with and wasn't it her husband that fixed her massive mistake by letting them store dead bodies in the freezer? Red was a mess. I can sympathize and empathize with her plight, but c'mon you gotta have common sense and emotional intelligence out in the world.

How are the characters’ Russian here? I’m referring to Red, younger Red and younger Dimitri because I’m pretty sure all of them are American. Older Dimitri is Russian so I imagine his Russian is spot on, and what about the mafia guys and their wives, can you spot if they are actual Russians or just foreign actors speaking Russian?
