Its first satellite (IRNSS-1A) was launched on July 1, 2013, and the seventh and last satellite (IRNSS-1G) was launched on April 28, 2016. Now when its last satellite IRNSS-1G was launched, at the same time the name of IRNSS was changed to Navic-NavIC (Navigation in Indian Constellation) by the Prime Minister. Now it is known as Sailor.
