Sonic isn’t even able to fuse with Hog into Scorched whenever he wants, and Sonic doesn’t kill Fists. Hog’s lore was very different when the songs were made anyway, and Hog’s creator has said that in Hog’s planned Fnf mod, BF’s presence within the game would allow Sonic to manifest instead of the Giga Ruby (Hog’s version of the Master Emerald), so this restored version is fine how it is.
I think the title card should look a bit off, to replicate the bootleg-esque nature of Hog. Maybe changing the 'ACT 1' to '1st ACT' or even messing a bit with the font could be cool.
