  • Latest update on how to travel Hong Kong to Macau by bus via Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge. After many years of closed boarders due to covid, finally Macau is now open for travelers/visitors. One way and it's the cheapest way I should say to go Macau is by taking the GOLDEN BUS. This video shows a step by step guide for domestic helpers in HK specially when going to Macau for first time. This video is taken during my stay in Macau last 18-19 of MARCH. If you want to TAKE bus from TUNG CHUNG STATION, you might want to click the link down below for a full guide aswell.

    Actually, you can get free transportation in Macau. Here's my tip, upon exit from immigration building, don't go to the left for pay buses, but go to the right side for free buses to main casino stations and from there you can takes free casino buses anywhere. Good luck and happy trip.

    • @OFFROAD_HUNTER
      @OFFROAD_HUNTER  Год назад

      Hi there, thanks for reaching out, depends which place you are coming from, if you are close to getting A21 bus then you can take the bus, it's more convenient for you as you do not need to transfer to another bus to go HZMB. MTR is faster but you have to transfer to another bus and spend time for another journey, there are times you have to wait and queue for the bus after you get off the MTR. So either way, the time spend is almost the same, I just prefer MTR as I'm very close to the MTR station.

    Hi Jocelyn, really informative video. just wondering why do u need the Hong Kong Id for for entering macau. I am Malaysian, will just a valid passport be ok to visit Macau. Also you took the 26A from Senado Square to Londoner Casino. Did u take the same bus back. Also how do u get back to the HKZB terminal from Londoner Casino or from Senado Square? What is the bus number? Does the 101X bus go one circle back to the HKZB terminal so that i can just board it from Senado Square.? Sorry for all the questions. My first time to Macau. tqvm in advance 😃

    • @OFFROAD_HUNTER
      @OFFROAD_HUNTER  8 месяцев назад

      Hi there, thank you for reaching out, if you are a tourist you don't need HK ID, only passport is good to go. About the HZMB fare, the concessionary is for senior citizens 65 years old and above so you might still need to pay $65 fare if you are 60 yrs. old. Yes I took 26A to Londoner, if you are at the Londoner, you can walk and visit also Venetian Macau and/or Parisian Macau (Eiffel Tower). There is bus 101X back to HZMB Macau Port near the Eiffel Tower, the bus stop is infront of STUDIO CITY. Very close to the Eiffel Tower. You can take that so you do not need to go back to Senado Square. Yes 101X is circular, just take 101X BUS you see but check the destination, it must be HZMB Macau Port written in the bus digital board.

    Do they stamp your passport when leaving Hong Kong? And then again when entering Macau?

    • @OFFROAD_HUNTER
      @OFFROAD_HUNTER  Месяц назад +1

      hi there, it's actually like when you travel to other countries, they stamp your arrival and departure. But this time they "don't" stamp passports. The immigration gives you a piece of small paper where the arrival/departure details printed in it and they just insert to your passport.

    • @GoodlifeInvestor
      @GoodlifeInvestor Месяц назад +1

      @@OFFROAD_HUNTER thanks! That’s helpful - so when you leave you just give them the slip of paper back?
      Does they check each others entry proof - or they are completely disconnected? Do you have to show the slip from Hong Kong - when entering Macau?

    • @OFFROAD_HUNTER
      @OFFROAD_HUNTER  Месяц назад +1

      The slip is yours, it is use to be the passport stamp before but was change to slip. Before they'll give you slip, you have to show your passport. Your passport is the most important. They give you slip when entering Macau and when entering Hong Kong.

    • @GoodlifeInvestor
      @GoodlifeInvestor Месяц назад +1

      @@OFFROAD_HUNTER but do you have to give them back the slip when leaving?
      Or let’s say you got a slip from Macau and then you travel to HK, What do you do with the slip from Macau - do you give it back when leaving Macao or you carry it with you to HK and show it to them there?
      Love your channel by the way!!

    • @OFFROAD_HUNTER
      @OFFROAD_HUNTER  Месяц назад +1

      You do not need to give the slip back to them. Though, some immigration officers might ask you to "SHOW" the slip, so just keep it, It's yours, It's your copy so keep it for yourself while on travel because you might need at some point to check details of your travel aswell. Eg. You are given an entry slip when you enter Macau, keep it for yourself. When you travel back to HK they won't get the slip back from you but might ask you to show. When entering HK, you will be given another entry slip for HK, they won't get the slip back, you keep it for yourself it's your copy.

Domestic helpers who wish to visit Macau need to show there HK ID, passport and "working visa"(e-visa) at the immigration. For Hong Kong residents, just HK ID and/or passport. About your child without HK ID, I'm not really sure how it works, if your child has a passport, he/she can use just the passport. Maybe you can ask some travel agencies about this matter.

Furthermore, you'll see great views on your way! Different views from day and night. It's 45 minutes journey which is the same as when you travel by turbo jet ferry to Macau. Ferry is like 165 hkd or more one way, while golden bus is only 65 hkd one way. But either way, you choose which one you prefer. I did the ferry many times long time ago when the HZMB is not yet completed, and this time I'd love traveling via the HZMB route.
