Don't burn yourself out! It would really suck to see you lose your passion. This channel is a treasure trove of information for someone such as myself trying to get an old third gen back in shape. Thanks a bunch for all of it!!

    Just a FYI:
you still need to periodically check the bearing preload. especially if you installed new bearings.
as new bearings will wear in a bit and the lash will increase.
I also lash these at about -0.002in. so a bit of preload to account for heat expansion of the hub.

Can you do this with factory hubs? Going to mill mine down to do a fourth gen brake swap and would love to get them as “low drag” as possible like shown. Thanks!

Hey I was wondering about my 3rd gen so the hood isn’t aligned properly so the driver side headlight is covered by the hood so it won’t pop up only the passenger side will how do I realigned the hood

you can loosen the hinge bolts and get some wiggle room out of it.
hood fitment is an art though.
it's a lot of trial and error

I have the iron hubs and I had to tighten mines all the way down cus it had too much play but they don't spin fast like yours

hubs won't spin free like the start of this video if they are fully greased up.
