It’s really helpful to watch someone with the same body type as me. The oversized trend is awful for smaller bodies. I feel like a little girl wearing my mom’s clothes. I totally get what you mean by the button up shirts. I only recently ordered from Sezane so still learning their sizing. Thanks for this! I’d love a try on haul with Me + Em as well. They are super pricey so it would be great to see how they fit.
@ I found that review later! Thank you! 💕 Gosh I absolutely love their site. I could spend thousands. I’m going to attempt a no buy year and then treat myself in a year to a Me&Em spree
@@jowiens32 what an amazing idea…I’m taking notes!! Seriously worth it though…my Me&Em pieces have held up so well. They do have great sales and I love that their sale items can be returned too for full refund if they don’t fit!!
You might like the Maha jumper which has more of a sweetheart neckline and is a merino cotton blend. It’s great if you are bustier. The Hannah bodysuit is a v neck but it’s not too low and it is also a merino cotton blend.
While I don’t recall using the term matronly and I definitely do not shop only for ‘sex appeal’ - I do have to agree with you that I am not the target audience :) Ive been on a mission to find high quality clothing at reasonable prices and since Sézane fits the criteria I wanted to give them a try! When I’m spending so much on a garment I think it’s fair to be picky. Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a comment ❤️
I think when you say boxy it’s because for your body type you would need more feminine clothes or clothes that you can style to accentuate your natural curves. This brand just might not be right for your body type.
I think you are spot on! There were only 2 styles I ended up keeping - the sweater vest that ended at the waist and the slimmer fit button up. So while I will order again in the future I will be more selective 😅
why they keep making everything so boxy and shapeless? Makes me mad every time! it is very hard to find something formfitting of decent quality and price!
Yes they are boxy and shapeless. It’s meant to fit a certain body type so not very inclusive. I can only wear their jumpers or their shirt skirts as I’m petite. (The short skirts aren’t that short on me). Otherwise trousers, longer dresses and shirts are too long and overwhelming on a smaller frame. The body shape they had in mind is the French woman body stereotype - tall, thin and not much of shape. They seem to do that for a lot of French brands as well(soeur , rouje, Claudie pierlot, Sandro, Maje etc).
The white pants look amazing with everything you have on. Gorgeous
Oh thank you!

Ah thank you so much for this thoughtful response

@ Oh good to know! Yes so classic and also fun and colorful. I ordered one sweater to test and I LOVE it
Thank you for the very honest reviews---good points

Very interesting 👀 next time I give Sézane a try I will check out those styles. Thanks for the input!
I appreciate you breaking down the fit, material, construction. Expensive or not I want to love the items.
Sadly high price doesn't always mean high quality AND great fit :/
Thanks so much for watching!
Hi! I just have to ask- where is the white top that you wear throughout this video from? Love it!
Hi 🫶 the white top is from Aritzia - it was part of the fall haul that I did (currently up on my channel).
Thanks so much for watching! 🙂
The colour on the Maurice jumper looks soooo nice on you 😍
Thank you cutie :)
Good video. The real question is about the sweater you are wearing in the video. Would you mind sharing the name of the brand? It's lovely. thx.
No secrets here! 🫶 the top is from Aritzia - I actually purchased it in the “Aritzia haul” video uploaded recently to my channel.
The grey dress looks gorgeous on you! You have nothing to hide. Be proud of your feminine figure!
This is a kind reminder to be nice to myself! 🫶

Great reviews! What is your height?
Thank you! :) I am 5'5
Can you do a fitness routine
Yes! It’s actually going to be one of my upcoming videos :)
Goodness, everything looked great on you, you just seem like you want a tight t-shirt with tight jeans.
Ah thank you for the compliment and for watching :)
I am incredibly picky with my clothes for sure!
You kept referring to "boxy", and called some items matronly. its possible, as you were looking for sex appeal, you are not the target clientele. .

Many pieces are meant to be tailored for fit. The French love a tailor, cobbler, etc to customize their clothes/shoes etc.
@ true - but not easy with the knitwear where the shape tends to be boxy in shape.
